Spending one month volunteering in this hostel was the best decision I could do for this summer. Since the first moments everybody made me feel welcome, showed me around and immediately I felt like I'm at home. Big thanks belongs to all of the staff in the hostel, they are always friendly and helpful if you need anything. The task are easy and most of the time really fun, hours of work are respected and if you need some change,the manager Ovi tries to be as flexible as possible. Hostel is clean, with friendly, social vibe and I met a lot of amazing people there. Amazing experience, I recommend

I had an amazing experience here. I stayed for two and a half months, and it truly felt like home. The hosts were kind, supportive, and always willing to help. I made so many great friends with both the volunteers and the staff, and working together was always fun. I learned a lot, improved my English and Spanish, and created unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a meaningful volunteering experience. Thank you for everything! I hope to come back one day. ❤️

This experience couldn't have been better. Ovi, the other staff and my fellow volunteers were amazing. Ovi puts a lot of effort into selecting a kind, social, caring team of volunteers and it shows. The working hours were also very fair and the tasks were simple and fun. The volunteer room was clean and comfortable and it was nice to be together with all the other volunteers. I will be back ;)

I had an absolutely amazing time! Our responsibilities were easy and manageable, and we had plenty of time to ourselves to explore the city, spend time with others, and simply enjoy our stay. Our main task was to take care of the guests — preparing family dinners, making sangria, and organizing evening tours and activities. For me, it felt more like hanging out with friends, and I genuinely enjoyed the job. Ovi (our manager) was very helpful and flexible with our needs. He really cares about the volunteers and wants them to have fun and enjoy their time outside of work. It truly felt like home

It was such a great experience staying here for a month, the work was fair and fun, the hostel is really gorgeous and the position is perfect, 4 weeks flew by!! Ovi really does a great job picking volunteers and making the work rota, whilst talking our preferences of days of into consideration. The whole hostel had a very welcoming vibe, I met the best people here and was very sad to leave! I would 100% recommend this volunteer experience to anyone :)))

This was my first time volunteering, and I cannot imagine a better experience. Ovi and the whole staff are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The work tasks are very reasonable and not difficult, and leave you plenty of time for exploring Granada or taking day / night trips to nearby cities. The other volunteers are so wonderful, and its so much fun meeting guests during the nightly sangria/dinners. Truly one of the best experiences of my life, I wish I could’ve stayed longer!!

Eco Hostel in Granada was my first volunteering experience and it convinced me that it definitely won't be the last. The work isn't very time consuming, most of it is helping with the family dinners and some light cleaning. The hostel is very cozy, social and just beautifull. The volunteer manager Ovi is really good at his job, it is very clear he is intentional when creating the team of volunteers. The hostel staff are sweet. What is expected of you is comunicated in advance and even in case you get confused or make a mistake, they explain everything calmly and respectfully. I highly recomend

Hours were exactly as discussed, with days off requests respected as much as possible. The city is beautiful, but keep in mind summer is a slow season due to it being a college town. Only thing I wish was different was communication styles when resolving conflict, but this was not a deal breaker for me staying a total of 6 weeks. Would recommend!

I had a great experience at Eco Hostel. The hostel is very beautiful and well kept, the other volunteers were super friendly and welcoming when I arrived. Ovi is a really great manager, our schedules were well made, giving us lots of time off and flexibility. It was super easy to engage with the guests and to make new friends, would highly recommend to any one who is wanting to improve their Spanish and wanting to explore Granada. Thank you so much!!!
