The experience

In our NGO, we have qualified staff to organize the duties and they are committed and dedicated to serving the community with minimal supervision, and we're looking for volunteers to help our community with them. We have received numerous compliments and recommendations from the government and organizations. We offer a range of opportunities: the incoming volunteers are offered a wide range of positions from which they can choose from.

What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: $10 is for food (3 meals a day thus breakfast, lunch & dinner)

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

As well as donations, The Golden Eagles Network Foundation relies heavily on volunteers in order that our many programmes can continue.

We welcome people from all over the world, of all ages and genders, who can offer help through their experiences, skills and hard work. Although there are specific roles that need filling, we also encourage individuals who have alternative project ideas (as long as they fit in with TheGen Foundation's aims and objectives) you connect or link us to through collaboration and partnership.

We want you to get as much out of their experience as possible whilst at the same time, making a difference in the lives of some of the most poverty-stricken people in Kenya. We need volunteer classroom assistants to help out on a daily basis at the TheGen Foundation Academy Schools both Early Child Development(ECD),Primary and High Schools. As classes are large.
