The experience

We are a family run hostel in Fes Ancient Medina and we are on the search for a volunteer, with excellent communication personality skills to help us run our hostel. They need to be outgoing, be able to handle male muslim culture, be respectful, open minded, hardworking, come fresh with lots of new ideas, good at social media, be a seller and know how to deal with hostel clients in both a fun and professional manner.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Between 20 and 35 years old

Be from outside Morocco

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

ABOUT 5/ 6 HOURS A DAY, EXTRA HOURS WILL BE PAID LOCAL RATE. If you wish to work full time then please let us know.

Rules

You need to be communicative and not shy to add ideas and take instructions. Please note that this is a very busy hostel and we run a tight ship and at times it is highly stressful.
