We’re looking for an active, social and responsible person who speaks English and Spanish to join our team at Achalay!
In exchange for your help, we provide accommodation and food: breakfast with homemade bread, homemade sweets and jams, coffee, tea & mate, plus basic dry food (pasta, rice and legumes) and one box of fresh vegetables per week.
You can also earn some extra money through tour commissions and by organizing dinners at the hostel.

Your main role will be at reception: welcoming guests, helping with check-ins and check-outs, providing information and being part of the daily hostel life.
Reception duties also include cleaning and general housekeeping tasks when needed. We all work together to keep Achalay clean, organized and welcoming.
Volunteers may also have the opportunity to enjoy some local activities and tours for free.
We keep things simple: common sense, respect and good communication.
We’re looking for easygoing, responsible and proactive people who understand that living and working in a hostel means being part of a team.
We do have some basic house rules, like every hostel, but we’re flexible and value people who take initiative, respect shared spaces and bring a positive attitude.
