Had the best first volunteer experience here and I MISS IT ALREADY >.< the hostel feels like one big family, super social, cute and cozy vibes and everyone is so so incredibly welcoming. The tasks are pretty easy, except night shifts will really mess with your sleep schedule but it's so worth it since i got so much time to explore the city. Staff is the cutest ever and they make sure the guests are the cutest ever so i'd get a new set of besties every 3 days! Made so many friends at the hostel & the hostel♡ 100% best hostel i could've started my travels at!! MUCH MUCH LOVE♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎

The hostel & the hostel is a wonderful hostel with comfortable accommodation and a great team. the volunteer night shift tasks were manageable and scheduling was flexible. a great location in rotterdam, quite close to the train station as well. i made some great friends with staff and guests, and some incredible memories in my 2 months there. highly recommend!

Volunteering at the hostel&the hostel was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. The staff team is incredible, they care about each other, the volunteers, and the guests. It's one of the best hostels in the Netherlands; you can see it in the reviews, and you feel it the moment you arrive. The cozy and welcoming environment made this place not just a hostel, but my home in Rotterdam. Volunteers are given a great sense of freedom, schedule flexibility, and autonomy, which really makes you feel like part of the team. Suzy the cat is always around to make our days warm. Highly recommend

Everyone working here are the sweetest, a really cool team, they made me feel at home since day 1, part of the hostel family. The hostel is super chill and comfy, and the location is great! I'm more than grateful to had the opportunity to be a volunteer here. If you have the chance, don't hesitate to volunteer here, you will have an amazing time! From day 1 you can feel like home :) hostel is a vibe, family mood.. sweet atmosphere. The team is always trying to create something positive for the guests.. game, free food, game night, Sunday's movies.. they are flexible with the shifts, and is easy to work in this environment ! I would come back for sure :)
