I left wanting to stay forever. I was welcomed from the very first moment and I could not imagine a better experience than the one I had at the hostel. The place is paradise and the people become your family. I miss the group dinners, the bonfires, the games, the hikes and trips to the beach.
The reception and housekeeping work is quite easygoing and everything is discussed very well. I also want to congratulate DG for being the perfect balance of fun and responsibility.
I treasure great moments and I hope this has been my first of many visits to the hostel! ❤️🌊☀️

My experience at the hostel was amazing!! The vibe of the hostel is very nice, at the foot of the hill, near the river and the beach, the folks who come by are super nice people, and the work is relaxed! When I was there, DG was in charge of the volunteers and he helped a lot to make the communication flow and everything was well done, a feeling of being in family indeed! Itamambuca Beach is beautiful and is close to the hostel, and the village is incredibly special. The work is easy and keeping the house in order is simple with a proactive team. Tais is amazing and was always nearby and available for questions, in addition to taking part in many moments of fun with us.🤩 The volunteers and guests made the exchange special in a way I will never forget. And of course, Bela, Bolota and Lázaro made this experience even better.

The hostel is a place of peace and serenity. It was a month of great experiences and interactions with wonderful volunteers. During the off-season there isn't much guest activity at the hostel, ideal for those who want more tranquility. I will miss Bela, Bolota and Lazaro forever. See you soon!

I arrived at the hostel in the off-season, so it was a very calm moment. Tais is super nice, he just wants the volunteers to be committed to the activities and to take good care of the dogs and the cat. The hostel is away from the city, but it's a very pleasant village to be in, and the beach is also nearby. I only recommend doing some shopping at the market before going, because near the hostel things are a bit more expensive. I found the breakfast good; it had fruits, bread, eggs, cream cheese, and coffee. You will fall in love with Bolota, Bela, and Lázaro. There are many beautiful places in the region.

O the hostel foi especial por muitos motivos. Foi o meu primeiro voluntariado e, desde o primeiro dia, fui acolhida de uma forma surreal. As pessoas, a vibe do lugar, o clima… tudo contribui para tornar o ambiente leve, incrível e cheio de boas energias. A Taís é maravilhosa, tem um coração enorme e sabe acolher cada pessoa que passa por ali. As escalas são organizadas de um jeito que conseguimos aproveitar muito bem as folgas e viver a experiência de verdade. E sem contar as “crianças” kkkkk "Lazáro, Bela e Bolota", que deixam tudo ainda mais especial!

I met amazing people along the way and the hostel's atmosphere made everything lighter and more comfortable. My experience at Sintonia was incredible. From the first day I felt truly welcomed, as if I already belonged to that place. More than a volunteer experience, it was an important chapter in my life, full of connections, learnings and moments I will carry with me.
