I am so glad that I got to spend time in Diamond mountain retreat center. Everyone was so welcoming with all their heart and I felt like I was at home as soon as I arrived. The mountain was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I appreciate all the conversations we had. I arrived not knowing what I was going to experience, but I learned a lot about buddhism and most importantly, myself. Most of the work that I did was cleaning cabins and a temple, but I also had a chance to serve breakfast for a group of people who came for a retreat. It was absolutely a beautiful and peaceful moment of my life.

I didn't know what to expect though I had volunteered before in different places, mostly farming communities. But this time it was not just volunteering. It was learning, enlightenment, spiritual fulfillment and a great joy!

What a beautiful experience I have had! Every minute was filled with happiness!
Work was a pleasure. People were awesome! The sky was bright blue!

This was a truly life changing experience. I had the opportunity to dive deep into the Buddhist belief and create amazing friendships while being in Diamond Mountain. So many resources were offered to help in anything I wished to learn. I am grateful for the Diamond Mountain team and other volunteers for a wonderful experience. I certainly recommend this to others interested in exploring their spiritual path.

I found a community that made me feel seen and heard at DM. I loved connecting with nature through serving. I learned so much by just watching people (and insects!) at DM be themselves and by sharing the rich stories of their lives :) The staff was AMAZING (Maya, Jack, Kaia, Steven), very thoughtful, understanding, caring, and FUN! Hanlie and Kat worked behind the scenes to make sure every transition and the logistics ran smoothly-that is the type of care that is felt only when it comes from great leaders. Here's to hoping our paths cross again in the future!

I had a great experience at Diamond Mountain that I will never forget. I met some amazing people (both staff and volunteers), got to witness and experience the beauty of the area, and learned so many valuable lessons. Carolyn is the most compassionate person I've ever met who taught me so much and whom I shared many laughs and fun times hanging out with. This trip was perfect for my first worldpackers trip amd makes me want to not only explore more but to come back to Diamond Mountain
