If you want to improve your Portuguese, this is the place to be, but if you don't speak a single word or are a beginner, it can be quite tuff. I would recommend a longer stay, to really get in touch with er very one and to get to know the beauty of Ubatuba.

It's always great to be at TC Hostel. The place is really nice, it has a good energy and I feel very good here. Lupe is always amazing and is always willing to help with whatever is needed. I really like coming back and, for sure, whenever I can, I'll be here again.

I've been traveling around Brazil for two years, and this volunteer program was the best hostel of all, by far. The tasks are exactly as described, well organized and in line with the hostel's working hours. There is a good balance between the time spent volunteering at the hostel and free time, which allows you to enjoy Ubatuba and the hostel experience. But without a doubt the best part is the owner's human quality, always willing to help, respectful, kind and very attentive. His girlfriend, although we spent little time together, was also very warm and kind. I've formed great friendships with the other volunteers and a beautiful memory. I highly recommend it 100%.

I was surprised by my experience nothethethe hostel! In a short time I was there I felt like it was my home too! Grateful to have been welcomed, and for the friendships I made there! Gustavo was always very helpful with the needs of the volunteers and guests, I didn't have the oportunityethe hostel to meet Lupe personally but mesmothe hostel far away always concerned about what happens nothethe hostel. It was my first time volunteering inthethe the hostelle felt that I learned a lot!

The experience at the hostel was incredible; it's a pleasant, beautiful place, full of nature around, the hostel I felt very welcomed and respected. The hosts are great people, communication is smooth, they help with whatever is needed. The hours and days off are well respected. I highly recommend this place. I would strongly recommend volunteering at the Tropico de Capricornio hostel. I loved collaborating on the media and professionalizing myself more and more by doing collabs with surf schools, the SurfUp app, and a bike rental company. Moreover, Gustavo (owner and manager of the media volunteers) is a very upbeat person and is very open to the ideas I proposed. We held a raffle to increase the hostel's followers. I would definitely return! Thanks for the opportunity Gustavo and Lupe! Much success to you and the hostel!

My experience at the hostel was incredible. Very well located, 3 minutes on foot from Tenório Beach, a nearby market, and for those who enjoy the nightlife the hostel is also close by. Lupe and Gustavo are really nice; the tasks are well explained and divided; any questions, Lupe is willing to help you. The hostel's structure is also really good, the rooms are spacious and the outdoor area cozy. I recommend it to everyone!!

O hostelmaravilhoso, organizado, as tarefas bem divididas, eu trabalho home foi bem tranquilo conciliar. Lupe sempre disposta a ajudar no que precisei, eles disponibilizam um valor por semana para os voluntarios que eu achei maravilhoso pois podemos comprar em conjunto e sempre tem coisas para fazer e se alimentar. A praia é bem pertinho, uma delicia. Só gratidão pela ótima recepção e por esse tempo noooo hostel 💗
