We stayed with Maicon, Ester, and the kids for almost 2 weeks. It was a very heartwarming and inspiring experience being part of a family with a lot of passion for their local communities and their bakery (amazing breads btw!). We helped around the house, played with the kids, cleaned, and cooked. They also showed us around Torres anytime they have the chance to and we can go to the beach which is 10 mins walk away when we are done with work. We were very well taken care for and learned a lot of new things and very thankful for the amazing experience 💕 I hope to see you guys soon, hugs.

We are incredibly grateful to Ester and her beautiful family for letting us be a part of their community, we always felt at home. Working with them has always been a joyful and inspiring moment as playing with the children, learning how to bake, sharing knowledge and experiences. They made sure we were making the most of our time in Torres, leaving us to the best beaches and taking us on their trips in the magnificent nature of the area. I would have liked to stay longer! These few days in Torres have been emotionally charged. The house is a perfect place to unleash your creativity, the hosts are fabulous and made us feel comfortable from the first minutes. A great way to discover southern Brazil, meet people and create memories. I hope to see you all 4 again one day <3

We only stayed a few days but we had a really cool time. They made us feel like home, showed us around, included us in their daily life and on trips, but also gave us the space we needed to relax and chill alone. The work is also fun! Everything from garden,handyman to looking and learning how they make the bakery stuff :) You can be sure you'll be taken good care of here- and the bread and bakery they make taste amazing !!!! It was a few days of stay but I was surrounded by creative and beautiful souls! It was nice to be in a familial environment again after being away from my own home for quite sometime now. Ester and Maicon have been generous and really nice hosts. It's been amazing as well because my schedule coincided with their son's 6th birthday, and when they had this cool family traveling in a Volkswagen Kombi staying over. I also liked learning about natural fermentation and artisanal baking. How I wish I had more time to immerse myself in the craft. Nevertheless, amor e gratidão! <3

My experience at Terra the home was intense, with a lot of learning and good exchanges. I went during the Junina festival season, so my activities were closely related to helping with decorations, which was fun. The hosts Teté and Maicon are dear, artists, kind and welcoming. The children are intelligent and loving. The accommodation (a Kombi) is charming; in winter it gets quite cold, but they offer blankets. The nicest part was truly feeling like a local resident, living with the natives. I especially recommend it for those who want to feel 'part of the family'! Gratitude 💗

Simply an amazing place, I felt I belonged there and like one more member of the family, I learned a lot from everyone Rolês juntos, muitas amizades, direct connection with the local routine, in addition to many laughs, a 10/10 crew, the only difficult part was having to continue the trip, far beyond what I expected, these are people I will carry with me for life ❤️

It was a very enriching and intense experience, I felt welcomed from the very first moment by everyone, and during the experience I felt that I really was part of the family. Ester and Maicon have big hearts and two wonderful children who make everything even better!
I had the happiness of being able to participate in the event promoted by the family, and it was quite enriching, full of magical experiences and learnings.
The house is close to the beach and there are bicycles available to explore the city. The city of Torres is very pleasant and beautiful.
