If you're looking for a small hotel, friendly people, easy vibe then this is a place for you It's mainly recepcion work and the guests who stay there are mostly familiar with the hotel. My Spanish was unfortunately not good enough to work solo, and I couldn't learn a lot, but they were very flexible and take good care. If you're looking for a small place to stay, easy vibe then go for it On the free time you can bike to miramar House is next to the hotel, one minute walk :)

Claudia, thanks to you, it was a new experience. If the language was a problem, it wasn’t serious. I wish you good volunteering opportunities. I’m sending you a big hug.

My experience at the hotel was simply incredible! Eduardo and the whole team were extremely kind and welcoming from start to finish. It was a huge pleasure to meet and spend time with such special people. Balneária is a super quiet and charming city, and the hotel has superb facilities and an excellent location. I hope to have the opportunity to return soon to reconnect with this amazing group!

My experience at the hotel was incredible. Eduardo is very kind, attentive, and always willing to help. He welcomed me warmly and made me feel comfortable from the first moment. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and has an excellent location. One of my biggest takeaways was Spanish: Eduardo and the whole team helped us practice in a very clear and instructive way. I almost felt like I was part of the reception! 😂 I’m taking away great memories and would totally recommend the experience. 🌎❤️

Our experience at the hotel was very good. I covered tasks at the reception and my partner at the laundry, so we could do the same shifts and share days off. Simple and clear tasks, the first day was a learning day, the schedules were respected, agreed a few days in advance during the week. The basic breakfast and Carlos's dinners were very tasty. The volunteers' house has the basics, the kitchen could be a bit more complete. Edu is a very easygoing guy, open to chatting and accepting new ideas. The atmosphere among the volunteers was a perfect 10. The place was super quiet and safe. A very lovely experience.

The experience was very good! It was my first time working at a hotel's front desk. The shifts and schedules were fulfilled and Edu was very flexible when arranging the hours with my friend since we did the volunteering together! We stayed in a volunteers' house, if it wasn't very luxurious, it had what we needed and we could turn it into a home. Additionally we got the room with air conditioning (awesome) We met and shared with travelers and we got to know the town that is very lovely!!

The hotel experience was very good, the agreed work was respected and we really liked the host's flexibility regarding us enjoying the place; it's a place I would like to return to when I have time, since the area is very beautiful and the treatment is friendly. Eduardo saved our bacon by taking us to Miramar when we didn’t know much about transportation; he always seemed willing to help us whenever we needed it. The volunteers' house is full of kittens; all the volunteers take care of them with respect and affection, it's not part of the volunteering but we looked after them. GRAX :)

It was my first volunteering experience, and honestly, it was a very valuable one. Not only did I meet amazing people, but I was able to explore the place. Eduardo was very eager for the volunteers to get to know the place. Highly recommended.

Balnearia is a very quiet town, you can appreciate the idiosyncrasy of the place. You'll like it if you value peace and quiet. We carried out maintenance tasks, we painted railings, and kept the house where we stayed in order (we did not carry out activities in the hotel, other than painting a few walls) The schedule and the exchange were respected. Thanks to Don Luis, Dani, Belu and Eduardo!

Finally we participated in volunteering to maintain the house belonging to the hotel, which is rented and where the volunteers also live.
Don Luis was with us and telling stories about Miramar de Ansenuza; we were there for the spring parade and the queen's election. Something very different to see.
With Eduardo we could share a few moments, since the hotel had a lot of people. But he was always attentive to the requests we made.
On Saturdays you can hear the noise from the nightclub when it's open, but nothing that a pair of earplugs can't fix.
