I'm incredibly grateful for the experience I've just had ! The team feels like a family now. Everyone is so friendly, both the guests and the volunteers! :) I absolutely loved spending this past month with the hostel team. As for the work, everything is well balanced and well organised. I also had plenty of free time to enjoy myself, go out, and explore the city. I would happily come back !

My stay at the hostel was absolutely incredible. It's hard to find words to describe how special my time was. London has become one of my favorite cities. I feel extremely grateful that volunteering at this hostel allowed me to immerse into the city's culture so quickly. Leah made me feel at home and has created such a comfortable space for all volunteers. The work was extremely fair and flexible throughout my entire stay. I made lifelong connections, learned from many international travelers, visited beautiful landmarks, and grew as an individual immensely. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The hostel was one of the best experiences i've ever had. It is indeed a home away from home and I've met so many great people. The workliad is totally fair and chill. If you ever consider volunteering here, you will make such great memories. I will miss it a lot!

Amazing experience — I would definitely recommend it. The workload is very fair and leaves you with plenty of time to explore London and meet new people. Leah, the manager, is incredibly friendly and does a great job of selecting volunteers who get along well, so you’re almost guaranteed to make some lifelong friends along the way.

This was a perfect first volunteering experience. The other volunteers were all very welcoming and the manager and receptionists are so lovely. The cleaning/housekeeping shifts were not too difficult and the party shifts were so fun. Generally a great atmosphere, I loved connecting with all the guests as well, you meet so many interesting people at a hostel. I loved staying at the hostel and wish I could've stayed even longer!! I can recommend this to anyone who truly enjoys being with and meeting new people. I'll definitely try to come back soon!

Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. They really helped me improve my English and made me feel like part of the team from day one. The tasks were well organized, fair, and enjoyable, and the working environment was relaxed and friendly. The atmosphere is like a big family, and it's so easy to make friends with both the staff and the other volunteers. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a volunteering opportunity in London. Thank you for everything!

Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
