I only stayed a week, but my time went by so fast. If we weren't working we could explore, chill, hang out. As a parttimer there was a lot of flexibility. I really enjoyed my time because of that, the dogs, the community life. Luis has created an amazing space at the hacienda for the dogs and for anyone who wants to volunteer. Yes it is more basic than some other places, but you have everything you need and more. Would recommend!

Well, over the past two months I learned so much, and it was definitely a crazy but incredible experience. I improved my English and Spanish while working hard and enjoying the company of the animals, especially Queenie❤️.
I was a little introverted, but Luis and Mini always made me feel comfortable asking questions, asking for help, or even just a small favor. I’ll always be grateful to them and to all the volunteers I had the chance to meet during this time.
I’m definitely going to miss this place so much. I’ll keep these memories close to my heart. Thank you for everything 🥰

The eco village is an amazing place with absolutely gorgeous views between the mountains and forests. Perfect if you're looking to live outside of the city for a while, make food on real fire and form lovely connections with the dogs and travellers all over the world. We were taken care of and made sure we're having fun as well. I'm forever grateful to have lived this experience!

I had a great time at the Hacienda. The work was reasonable, and the hours were flexible.

Through this experience, I met fascinating people from different parts of the world. I got to work and play with the dogs, work with clay, cook for 20-plus people, chop wood, and do other hands-on tasks.

I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a communal living experience.

Thank you, Luis!

Really lovely experience at the Hacienda for two weeks, the schedule was flexible and manageable and everyone here was very nice. It's a rustic farm with lots of nature nearby, so a good chance to live minimalist. The dogs are very sweet as well!

Great place, great host. Lot of diversity, good place to meet people, be in touch with nature and animals and a great vibe of community over here. Only feedback I have is that the internet is good for remote work but not consistent enough if you have to do videocalls (like me). Beside that, its a very nice place with a lot of good energy. Thanks, I will come back in the future!

Had the best time and met incredible people. Such a unique experience getting to be in the sacred valley and explore neighboring towns and areas. Great opportunities for activities like rainbow mountain and seven lakes. I loved the farm and getting to take care of the horses and be around the dogs all day long. The work is super manageable and you get a lot of freedom to help out where you want and in ways that interest you!

The 2 weeks I spent at the farm were amazing! The people there are all amazing, and so so welcoming! The work is really not bad, very reasonable hours and plenty of time to do other things like trips to tourist destinations (with other volunteers) going hiking, swimming locally, etc! The dogs are all angels and the atmosphere Luis has created at the farm was so homely and comfortable!

I had a lovely week stay at the farm.
Luis is very nice and cares about the dogs inside and outside.
The work is simple & working hours are very convenient.
The occasional collective barking can be bothersome and th jitvhen doesn't have gas/electricity for cooking so starting & maintaining a fire can be tricky and time consuming.
Luis was usually busy but I wish we could have him around more because he's great.
There is a river close by, a pond Luis took us to, a small forest to explore and a movie room. It's pretty peaceful. The dogs are usually on their own but some like attention more.
