I had a very nice experience at the hostel. The place is perfectly located by the beach, and the environment is cosy and chill. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It felt safe to stay there, and generally safe in Cumbuco. The work is well communicated and the working hours are flexible, which was very nice. I mostly helped out with the breakfast from 7-11 in the morning. There could be some work, but the time went fast and I got to the rest of the day. The only negative I want to say is that there's no surfboards to rent for free, as it says in the Worldpackers profile.

O hostel é um lugar de boa energia e com pessoas incríveis. Os sócios são muito tranquilos e existe bom equilíbrio entre desfrutar do local e as tarefas diárias! Para os amantes do hostel, Cumbuco é excelente. Apesar de estar no Worldpackers, infelizmente o hostel não empresta nenhum tipo de equipamento ou pranchas. Definitivamente recomendo a experiência!

O hostel tem uma energia incrível! A equipe do hostel, os voluntários e os hóspedes são pessoas super receptivas e animadas. Cumbuco é um local muito bom, onde muitos estrangeiros vão aprender o hostel surf: pra quem quer treinar idiomas ou fazer o hostel, é o lugar ideal. O hostel é lindo, tem piscina, fica do lado da praia e pertinho do centro, onde tem comércio e festas. As tarefas do bar e café da manhã são super tranquilas, mesmo com o home office, eu tive tempo pra aproveitar tudo. E a anfitriã Lucia é super atenciosa e flexível. Fui muito bem recebida e amei fazer parte dessa família!
