My stay at Hugo and Ana was a blessing. I am very happy to have had this experience. Truly being immersed in their life and feeling very welcome. At times there were some misunderstandings and disagreements about the voluntary work. But Hugo was easy to communicate with about these things and it resolved itself. Happy to share his the home and delicious chocolate, truly made me addicted! Ana made me a very beautiful amanita crochet hat, she is very talented at her work! The place they live is incredibly beautiful, with a view of Paraty from afar, and beautiful cachoeiras nearby. Thank you ❤️

Hugo & Ana are a lovely couple who will welcome you & make you feel at home. The house is still on renovation so some things are unfinished or missing like windows & furniture. It's located 10km from Paraty in the middle of the beautiful nature & some waterfalls. My tasks were mostly cleaning, cooking & taking care of the garden. I did 3 professional Thai massages as well as good will. I didn't have 2 days off but it was ok for me. Their English is limited. I would suggest to bring mangos, avocados, papayas, gloves & repellent. If you love dairy, sugar & desserts, this is the place for you!

An incredible experience! Almost a forest retreat, with a waterfall, the house and the delicious house. Hugo is a warm and flexible host, and the tasks are calm. Sereno, his son, is incredibly cute; he gave me many flowers and original drawings, haha. I can only express my sincere gratitude for having been welcomed into this very special space.

Minha primeira experiência no Worldpackers foi com o Hugo e não poderia ter sido melhor. Ele foi extremamente gentil e muito compreensivo com meu trabalho digital, o que tornou tudo mais leve. A casa é simplesmente incrível, fica do lado de uma cachoeira, então todos os dias eu tinha o som da água por perto, sem falar que a cachorra do vizinho vinha brincar e alegrava ainda mais os dias. A rotina foi bem tranquila,eu cuidava da limpeza e da organização da casa e me aventurei até em tirar os matos do jardim! Também dividimos as tarefas de cozinhar, o que foi uma experiência muito boa! Com certeza a casa do Hugo é a melhor experiência de voluntariado que já fiz até hoje. O lugar é incrível, a casa é linda, no alto da montanha, com uma vista surreal, cachoeiras bem pertinho. O trabalho é bem tranquilo e flexível. O Hugo é uma pessoa maravilhosa, muito gentil, atencioso, e tão acolhedor que me faz sentir em casa. Sem falar que o cara manda bem demais na cozinha, e faz os melhores the home de Paraty. Seu filho, Sereno, é uma fofura, muito educado e inteligente. A única coisa ruim é ter que ir embora haha.. Só gratidão meu querido por tudo, vocês são demais e já moram no meu 💜

Foi uma experiência incrível! Fui embora com o coração cheio de gratidão e felicidade de tudo que vivenciei nessas duas semanas na montanha. Hugo é um cara sensacional, muito iluminado e super flexível. Os a casa são uma delícia!! Essa experiência é para quem deseja sair da zona de conforto, tudo lá é bem roots. A casa do Hugo é sensacional, a vista é de tirar o fôlego. Foi maravilhoso acordar com o solzão irradiando a sala. E ainda tomar banho na cachu que fica só uns 5 minutos da casa. Fiz amizades que vou levar para sempre comigo. Só gratidão por tudo que vivi. Suuuper recomendo 🙏🏻
