This is one of the cutest and most darling hostels I've worked in. It is in an excellent location, but in a quieter neighborhood so it feels like a more local experience. The work is super easy and Livi is very upbeat and kind. Everyone is welcoming and the work is exactly as stated, hours are respected and it makes your stay in Edinburgh feel more authentic and Scottish! I enjoyed this, and I am actually a little sad to leave because it does feel like home. I would recommend this place and I would come back in a heartbeat.

I had a great week here. The work was exactly as communicated, and the full-time staff were all friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and full of good energy. The hostel is in a great location, close to plenty of places to explore. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would happily recommend it.

My experience with the hostel was absolutely positive! Even though I only stayed for a week, the team welcomed me warmly and made me fell very comfortable. The tasks are easy and quick, leaving plenty of time to explore the city. The location is amazing, only 10/15 minutes from Edinburgh's Old Town. I would totally recommend it :)

My experience volunteering at the hostel was great! The hours are fair and respected, the work is straight forward and easy, and the team is wonderful! The location of this hostel is great too, situated right on The Meadows (a gorgeous park) and only a 15-20 minute walk into town. Overall I would highly recommend this hostel and volunteer experience, it truly did become a home away from home to me during my stay here and I'm so grateful to Livi, Hugh, Jed and the fellow volunteer team for making me feel so welcome 🤗
