Mladen is an excellent person; I learned a lot from him and enjoyed being able to help him during my time volunteering. I had a very comfortable bed in a room, a blanket to keep me warm, and he does the grocery shopping while you cook your own meals. On the days I worked at his house, he provided me with food and snacks, and I felt very well taken care of. The agreed working hours are respected. I highly recommend this experience; you also learn a lot of the language. Mladen is a well-traveled person and speaks several languages. the home is a spectacular city, and I loved getting to know it too

I had the pleasure of staying with a host who speaks five languages, making it a welcoming environment even for those with limited English skills, as the host also speaks basic Spanish. I appreciated the flexible working hours, allowing me to complete all 25 hours in fewer days if I wished. The host provided all necessary food, although it was basic and not extravagant.
