The Exchange

The most important thing for a Worldpacker at Pura Vida Hostel is to smile and enjoy Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, Pura Vida Hostel and our guests. Mr. /Ms. Clean will also help us keeping our house super nice and clean, with a Pura Vida vibe! Common areas and bedrooms need your touch to shine!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Exchange and wash bed linens. Make the beds.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.

Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Cook your own meal: Feel free to prepare your own meal here

During one month the Worldpacker will have the chance to live real a "Carioca" life in one of the most famous areas in town: Copacabana

Give your special touch to our cleaning team and lets shine!

Activities & Shift

Your most important task is to always smile, be nice and pro-active!
Every day you must post something on social media something about the Hostel or Rio and be sure to tag Pura Vida Hostel in your post.

5 hours shift, five days a week.


Breakfast included. Lunch and Dinner are not included.
The worldpacker will sleep in a shared dorm.
