Program Details

O Vale do Céu offers a complex with more than 12 waterfalls on incredible trails to adventure, a welcoming team that is always present, shared accommodation, 3 daily meals and many unforgettable moments! ✨

In return we hope that worldpackers assist in the day-to-day demands of our guesthouse such as: Reception and assistance in administrative processes, kitchen assistant, cleaning and tidying the rooms or general maintenance. All activities are scheduled according to the guesthouse's demand and also taking into account each person's predisposition ♥

Activities & Shift

Shifts and roles are changed according to the guesthouse's needs, and the worldpacker may volunteer both day and night.

The guesthouse operates from 06:00 to 23:00, every day, therefore we expect the volunteer to be willing to have their working hours changed. We respect the volunteer's 5h/day limit.

Rules

O Vale do Céu is a space of peace, connection and respect. We expect our volunteers to be aligned with what we believe. Our rules for living together are simple:

* Equality and Attention: Live empathy in daily life. Attend to and welcome everyone with the same kindness and attention, ensuring an inclusive environment where everyone feels equally special.

* Culture of Respect: Adverse situations can happen, but respect towards the staff and fellow volunteers must be maintained in a non-negotiable manner.

* Care for the Space: The guesthouse is our shared home. Be proactive with cleaning and organization. If you used it, clean it; if you made a mess, tidy up. Take care of the shared space with care.

* Good Energy and Identification: Always be open to interact with friendliness. The use of the indicated uniform is mandatory during activities, reflecting the professionalism and care of our team.

* Connection with Nature: Be ready to love and preserve the lush nature that surrounds us. Protecting the local fauna and flora is our daily mission.
