The Experience
Help on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sowing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets.

The stay at the farm was amazing! Surrounded by nice people and wonderful nature. The atmosphere was super and the work was a lot of fun. Vern and Randy make you feel at home from moment one. Would 100% recommend this experience!

I absolutely loved my time at the farm. It was such a dream to live in Alaska. It was my first time working at a farm and it was amazing. I can also recommend the farm if you're looking for a place that feels like home with good food, kind ppl and fun activities. I went on so many hikes and saw so many beautiful places. This was by far the best experience I've ever had in my life. It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have chosen a better place! Vern and Randy are wonderful people, they are incredible caring and attentive to all the volunteers, and the food they prepare is fantastic. I stayed for 1 month and 1 week and felt at home from the very first days. I wish I could have stayed longer. I'm already missing all the amazing people I met during my stay. Thank you, Vern and Randy, for everything you did for me. I can never put into words how grateful I am to have met you.I hope to come back soon!

This was my first worldpackers and wow is it going to be hard to top this one. I absolutely loved my experience at the farm. I immediately felt so welcomed and was so comfortable throughout my entire stay. Randy and Vern are amazing hosts and I 100% recommend this experience. There are lots of opportunities for hikes and the homemade meals are amazing. Also, the views everywhere are stunning!! This experience far exceeded my expectations and I already knew it was going to be amazing. This place along with the amazing people that I met will always hold a special place in my heart!! 🫶🫶

This was my 3rd WP and it's by far my favorite!! the farm is such a magical place. Vern and Randy do an amazing job at making everyone feel at home. I'm already missing the delicious meals! The area is stunning. Great place for hiking, walks, and connecting with nature. I miss it everyday! Thanks for everything, Vern and Randy!! Hope to see you again soon.
