They communicate proactively, are always there when you have questions or need help, are both competent in what they do and very easygoing. I'm happy to have made two amazing new friends! The hostel is centrally located and very clean. Because of its relatively small size, it feels almost like a cosy shared flat, with space to relax alone or spend time together. Deciding to volunteer at Hostal the hostel was the best decision. The tasks were very easy to carry out, and since it was the off-season, there wasn't much work. Furthermore, the hosts, Angela and Oliver, are lovely, easy to get along with, and they make you feel like you're part of their plans, as if you were family. I should also mention that Trogir is a very charming town, as are the surrounding villages.

My experience at the hostel is simply unforgettable, Oliver & Angie are sweet-hearted exceptional human beings beyond description. They treat the hostel like their baby, and the volunteers like family -I truly felt that!- They are so present in the hostel, always helping out and are extremely kind and flexible. The tasks are basic I would say, Trogir is magnificent and historical. And the hosts (Oliver & Angie) genuinely want their volunteers to have a good time, fluffiness is in the air there!!! Lovely hosts, lovely hostel, and lovely island!

I had such a wonderful time during my month stay in Trogir! Oli and Angie are the BEST hosts. They are truly the most generous, kind, and fun people, always cracking jokes and making others feel comfortable and cared for. The work here is easy and gets done fast because everyone helps each other. The city of Trogir is absolutely beautiful and the beaches are a must-see, with the clearest water. It is a very clean and safe place, both the hostel and the city of Trogir. I always felt comfortable out at night alone. Thank you Oli and Angie for an unforgettable experience and for letting me stay

I couldnt wish better first worldpackers volunteering than this . I felt more like I was part of a family than did a work. The work was easy and I had lots of Time to explore Croatia. We had a bike to use so its perfect option to go around near Trogir .

I'm very thankful for the hospitality of my hosts Oliver & Angie :) Both made me feel at home all the time and even when unexpected things came up we always found a way to figure them out together. Also they always tried to bring plenty of good vibes with all the crew and guests especially with the pub crawl on weekends. The hostel's location is also great right in front of the hostel sea, far enough from the old town to avoid the noise but close enough to walk there easily.
