The hostel is a very special place. Sean is a generous person who really tries to make the hostel fun and friendly. My perspective is somewhat different than most volunteers, because after six weeks I was promoted to manager. I more or less ran the day to day operation, from the schedule, to the inventory, to the staff, kind of everything. And while Sean and I had our disagreements at times, it always came from the both of us caring deeply about the hostel, the staff, and the guests. It was an enormous learning and growing experience for me. Thanks for everything Sean ❤️🌺🌼

This place has been absolutely magical. The hostel is a cute and quaint place and I have loved every second of it. I enjoyed meeting guests from all around the world and hanging out with them. 🩷to Maui and Chaka🐈‍⬛. Sean is a great guy who really cares about the staff and hostel. What I treasure the most are the friends I made. Kyle, Carly and Kristian:). My favourite time was spent laughing our arses off in the staff dorm. I could spend the rest of eternity with them. Lifelong friendships was the last thing I expected to take away from this place but I am so glad I came here:,) Grà go deo🩷

The hostel is a truly lovely place. There's an inviting and chill atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and unwind. Besides the property, the host and other volunteers are a riot! I love each one of them and they hold a special place in my heart. Sean cares deeply about his guests experiences, strives to create a fun environment, and makes a great effort to facilitate natural social opportunities through parties, dinners, and outings. I will always treasure my time with Kyle, Sophia, and Carly. Such a hard working, goofy, genuine, and loving lot. So much fun and much more to come!

I stayed with the hostel for 3 months and can honestly say I wish I stayed longer. The staff not only are great coworkers, but great friends that I will never forget. The work load is not laborious and is very manageable. The hostel itself is stunning with a beautiful backyard and a family style interior (and two cats who i miss already) My favorite events were when everyone would make food and eat together. It never failed to bring happiness into the hostel and bond everyone including guests. Overall, the best way to explain my experience at the hostel was unforgettable.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and what an amazing start. I spent a month at the hostel and loved every day of it. While at the hostel my job was to work a combination of cleaning and reception shifts and then lead one event each week. I would make the hostel dinner on Wednesdays, which was a great event to bring the hostel together and meet new people. I want to thank the owner, Sean, the manager, Kyle, and the rest of our staff and guests for making the hostel feel like a home away from home. I will miss my hostel family very much.
