I have nothing but gratitude and love towards this place, the people, the spaces, my time here has been a roller coaster of growth and realization, marcel and jerin make the place feel incredibly safe for volunteers and people in general, the family vibe around the house, the openness, the smiles and giggles and their advice and knowledge are something that i'll carry within forever, being able to learn from this culture and this place from this amazing people and in such a loving way is really a great gift of life, i recommend this experience 100%, thank you greatly!

From the moment I arrived at thethe the CenterI felt very welcome. What a wonderful place and wonderful people to meet. There is an enormous diversity in tasks (allmost all in the garden of course ☺️) and the invitation to really be yourself and feel in what suits at the moment. If you want time to focus on yourself and learn more about yourself then this is the experience to be apart of. I was able to take care of the silent garden, vegetable garden and chickens which were all new experience that were fun to learn as I had previous experience. Jerien, Marcel, and Harm are very good people who welcome you to just be yourself and be free of any pressure and expectations. I was able to slow down and reflect while mindfully gardening which was very enjoyable. Thank you to the other volunteers Edzhem, Bart, and Amanda for making this experience more fun and I'm grateful.

The Centerbecame my second home. Marcel and Jerin are incredible and wise people who made me feel understood, respected, and cared for. The tasks were always meaningful, with plenty of connection to nature. The food was delicious and almost entirely vegetarian, and staying in my own cozy caravan made it even more special. My time there truly changed the way I see life, supported my personal growth, and gave me amazing friendships. It's a place I highly recommend if you're looking for a space to connect with yourself and practice your spirituality.

The Centeris honestly such an incredible place. This was my first Worldpackers experience and Marcel and Jerien showed me such kindness and warmth, they made me truely feel at home. The work that you are invited to do never feels like work because you are able to work at your own pace and with your own drive. The food is also incredible and the caravans you stay in are very comfortable. If you feel like you need time to slow down and reconnect with nature, your true self, and community this is an amazing place for it! I can not recommend this volunteering experience enough!!

Since the first video call with Marcel and Jerien, I was welcomed with open hearts and felt safe to be myself. DeMaanhoeve is a truly special place, I felt like my soul had already been here before.
