The tasks were manageable, and we had plenty of free time to ourselves once we finished our work around the house. Pedro is super laid-back and very flexible, especially if you're willing to help out beyond your assigned duties. While a bit more organization would have been nice, everything worked out completely fine in the end. I met some wonderful people here—you'll definitely have a great time if you come with a helpful attitude :))

This was my first volunteering experience, and I'm really glad I chose the guest house for my first experience. The tasks were simple and manageable, and I also had plenty of free time to enjoy my stay. Even on days when I didn't feel like going out, I could relax in the common lounge or spend time on my laptop getting things done. I also loved having the opportunity to join surfing lessons, yoga classe, and city sightseeing tour. They made my stay even more enjoyable and gave me the chance to try new things and experience more of the local area. A big thank you to Mariana and Fatima!

I had such a great time at the guest house Surf Camp. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it really easy to feel part of the team. The location in Cascais was amazing, with such a great surf and outdoor lifestyle. I also really enjoyed the work, especially creating content and being around such a fun environment. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I'll definitely remember and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great surf camp experience!

My time here went by so quickly! I met so many amazing people and felt part of the community from the very beginning. Pedro is a super relaxed host, and the whole the guest house team is great. The work is very manageable and you still have plenty of free time to explore the area and enjoy your time here :) Thank you for letting me be part of this place! I felt very comfortable at the lodge and would definitely recommend coming here. As a volunteer, you also get the chance to surf — we were able to join the surf sessions several times a week and really enjoyed it.

I had the best time at MobyDick! Everyone's soooooo nice and you get to surf a lot and enjoy time in such a cool region of Portugal. I met amazing people from all over the world and I got to use my English! Definitely recommend😊😊😊😊😊🤗🤗🥳🤗🥳🥳

I had a great experience at the guest house! Both Mariana and Pedro were great hosts, and the other volunteers were super cool. The season was just starting to pick up as I left. I think June - September would be the best time to volunteer! But I still really enjoyed my stayed and the slower pace during May suited me perfectly. The workload is super chill and you have plenty of time to explore. I will note that there are two locations/two hostels and the volunteers are spilt between the locations. So double check which location you are at before you get there!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐...Working at the guest house Sintra was a great experience. The lodge is a very calm, quiet, and peaceful place, beautifully situated close to nature. My daily tasks mainly consisted of preparing the breakfast buffet and welcoming new guests, showing them around the facilities and making sure they felt at home. Wise experiences to all of us🙏❤️💪✨

I've had the most amazing experience here at the guest house! i couldn't have asked for a friendlier and more welcoming community. i had lots of free time to explore colares and socialize with the other volunteers. i would 100% recommend this position to anyone looking for an unforgettable time. pedro and marianna were amazing hosts and i hope to come back soon ❤️

It was a fantastic experience in Colares, the weather wasnt really on our sides for the first two weeks but afterwards It felt like summer.
The arrangements were great and timetables were really good for my stay. Very cozy house and lovely hosts and partners I had during my stay.
