I never thought I'd find a home away from home in a party hostel of all places, but the the hostel somehow managed to do exactly that! There were so many unexpected extras, from a generous amount of alcoholic beverages and food included to having my own room for the first two weeks. However, this volunteering experience has been about so much more than that. From the time spent with other volunteers to learning more about Latvia from the amazing reception team, and of course, their exceptional pub crawls, it's been an experience I'll always look back on fondly.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff welcomed me from day one and made me feel at home, and the volunteer group was fun and easy to bond with. The workload was fair and left plenty of free time to explore the city and hang out. I'll definitely miss this place and the people. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes meeting new people.

Lovely hostel in Riga, the staff are very easy going and I am impressed on how they welcome all of us volunteers into their group. Riga is a nice city and the hostel provides a good deal. A generous allotment of free drink, the provide you the opportunity to stay in sister hostels in Tallinn and Vilnius free, very good rooms for the first few weeks I had my own room to myself, the work is reasonable. The manager and owner are very good to deal with and the other volunteers made my stay here so special. I could absolutely recommend the hostel to other travellers.

I had a really positive experience in Riga, Latvia. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than originally planned because of some personal circumstances back home, but I’m still very grateful for the time I was able to spend there.
Riga was a beautiful city with a lot of history, interesting architecture, and plenty to explore. I enjoyed getting to experience a different culture and meet new people, even though my stay ended up being shorter than expected. I definitely wish I could have stayed for the full amount.
