If you choose to stay and volunteer with us you will have full unlimited access to all the facilities here at GV including Netflix, Xbox, 4 guitars and 2 amps, keyboard and a cajone! Free unlimited internet and apple macs, free pool table and Foosball table, free kitchen facilities (2 ovens and stoves, 2 sinks, microwave, pots and pans and cutlery) free pasta, spices, rice, bread, jam, cereal, milk and free laundry facilities! We only have 48 beds so it is considered a small hostel but we are very concentrated on the guest/volunteer interaction. This results in a much better experience for both guest and volunteer. In exchange for free accommodation in our 6 bed mixed staff dorm you will be required to work up to 3 hours a day either cleaning the hostel and making beds in the morning or reception duties during the day plus 1 night shift per week which is from 8pm to 8am. After your night shift you get that day off! We are a super friendly and chilled out hostel with artwork on nearly every wall which guests who are artists have done while they have stayed with us. We see it more of a homely feel hostel as the volunteers stay on site and they treat it as if it were their home.
