The only downside was the night shifts, as you're responsible for everything alone and sometimes have to call the police to get unpleasant guests to leave. Just finished up at the hostel and it was amazing. It was my first time volunteering and honestly couldn't have loved it more. The hostel is in a great location and the volunteers are all great. The schedule is pretty set so you can plan day trips in advance. Over all great time!

My experience here was amazing! This was my second volunteer experience and I felt like I was welcomed in from the second I got there by everyone and made some great friends. The staff manual was super well organised so we were never confused about our tasks and everything was explained very well before arriving. I loved that the schedules were set out weeks in advance which gives you time to plan little trips on your days off better. The work was relatively easy and manageable and I always felt supported. The hostel is also in a great location for exploring Lisbon. I definitely recommend!

I had a really great experience volunteering at this hostel in Lisbon, Rehana was a kind and welcoming host. The volunteering hours were exactly as explained before arriving, so there were no surprises and I had plenty of free time to enjoy Lisbon and explore other parts of Portugal on my days off.
The volunteer room is spacious and comfortable, and the hostel facilities are great. Everything was also kept very clean throughout my stay. The location is another big plus, with bus stops and a metro station super close by, making it really easy to get around.

The staff and owners are great, and the activities offered to us (pubcrawl and boat party) are so much fun. The guests and other volunteers made the place even better. The location is great, right in the Avenida da Liberdade. Would really recommend this place to anyone looking to spend and get to know Lisbon!

This was my first worldpackers experience, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better one. The work was really easy and working hours were respected, so that left me a lot of time to explore the city and even go on trips to other places. The hostel is also very clean and has it's times when the vibe is more quiet, and also times when it's really social. The host is also respectful and all the other volunteers too. It was an amazing experience and I am very greatful to all the amazing people I have met! 🫶❤️
