Amazing place with even more amazing people! I had a great time at the hostel and felt at home from the first second. The family-like atmosphere in this hostel is truly one of a kind. The sense of community within the team, as well as with the guests, is something that felt very special to me. The hosts are incredibly sweet and welcoming, very inspiring to meet, and always making sure everyone feels welcomed and comfy :) I'm especially grateful for the people I got to share this time with. The hostel was such an amazing place! It was my first volunteer trip and it went so much better than I could have asked. The tasks are simple and respected, the people there are incredible, and it has a homey vibe. The other volunteers were really great to meet and work with, and the guests were really considerate as well. There was enough time to get around and see things in the city too (also very easy to walk/use public transit). During my time, there were several volunteers that came back to visit, which I think shows how highly this lovely place is regarded :) thank you!!!!!

I would absolutely recommend volunteering at the hostel!! It is so easy to feel at home there, as it is a small hostel with amazing people and colleagues you can call your friends so quickly. Everyone is welcomed with open arms and the vibe is always good. The working hours are very fair and the tasks are easy. Also, the manager Gabor is very friendly and helps out with whatever question you have. You have enough time to socialize with guests and time off to explore the city. I only regret not staying longer!!

I came to the hostel for a few weeks and somehow ended up staying six months. that probably says everything.this place gave me way more than just a bed and volunteering experience. I met a lot of amazing people from all over the world made real friendships, discovered countless life, music events, and and got to see a completely different side of Budapest that I would have never found as a regular tourist. The work was easy, atmosphere was relaxed, and there was also always something happening. The hostel only has 13 beds so it's very cozy. the hostel is great!

This was my first experience volunteering with Worldpackers, and it was the most wonderful place to spend 4 weeks. I cannot recommend the hostel enough as the perfect little home away from home. The community that Olga and Gabor have created is incredible, and each and every person that walks through the door immediately feels welcome and as if they have joined a little family. I got along very well with the other volunteers, and we had a clear and equitable schedule for work with plenty of free time to explore. I will never forget my sweet time at the hostel. I hope to return very soon :)

Volunteering at the hostel was hands down the most fun I've ever had! From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of a family. Gabor and Olga are truly incredible hosts — supportive, kind, and genuinely care about both the volunteers and guests.
