Renita welcomed me warmly from the very first minute. Working hours are respected and she is very flexible about that. The hostel is clean and very well organized. She is quite demanding with the cleaning tasks. Here's a tip: Cambará da Sul doesn't have cheap nightlife. There is a very good market near the hostel.

My experience was wonderful! It was my first volunteering experience, I was delighted. Renita is very dear, attentive, and patient; I felt at home and so warmly welcomed that it felt like a family, Maria's (dog) company was always wonderful. The tasks were straightforward: reception, check-in/check-out, the booking system, updating spreadsheets, cleaning the bedrooms and common areas, as well as a few posts for social media. The hours and days off were always respected; Renita was always very flexible and understanding to be able to do my outings. I highly recommend! I am very grateful for the experience!

My experience at the Hostel was unbeatable! Renita and Marcelo are two incredible people; super kind, friendly, cheerful and understanding. They were very respectful and calm. They fulfilled the tasks requested through the app; the facilities are very comfortable; the whole Hostel is very quiet, clean and tidy.
It's very easy and comfortable to stay for long periods chatting with them; they were very concerned with improving our stay, whether we had eaten or not, whether we felt cold at night or not, and so on... Only words of gratitude 💚

The hostel is the perfect place for someone who, like me, wants to do their first volunteering. Renita is an excellent host, receptive, welcoming and open to exchange. She trusted my work, left me at ease to carry out the tasks and flexed the work schedule. It is a clean and organized place with a central location in the city, which facilitated the daily routine. Also, of course, the pleasant presence of the little dog Maria Antônia that accompanied me on walks around the city and made the days brighter. I will definitely return on other opportunities; the experience is well worth it.

It was my first volunteering experience, and it couldn't have been better! The hostel is clean and organized, the working hours were respected, not to mention the privileged location in the city center, which is perfect for backpackers. A place to call home 😍 Here, I had the opportunity to learn about everything: governance, administration, charisma, receptivity, quality cleaning, in short, it was a school. Renita, besides having vast experience in the hospitality industry, was also a teacher, so she knows how to teach a volunteer about everything they need to know to develop the activities, like no one else. Besides being polite, receptive and having a giant heart, she makes you feel at home and part of the hostel family. She explains the activities, respects the schedules and days off, she is super flexible and has become a mother/friend for life ❣️
