We received a warm welcome from the volunteers, and the surroundings were beautiful, but the living quarters, and especially the volunteer dormitory, were extremely moldy and dirty, and not as pictured in the photos. Because of this, we couldn't live there and left after just one night. It's truly for hardcore backpackers, and we think it could be a wonderful experience for some as well.

Everything went as promised. The tasks were easy to handle, there was a washing machine exclusively for volunteers, and a fully equipped volunteer kitchen. The location is great — there's a bus nearby that goes straight to Copacabana, and there's plenty of space to explore and enjoy nature. The host was always polite and friendly. Small things could be improved, such as the volunteer accommodation and a dedicated space for people working on laptops. Roberto is a very kind person. I had very good two weeks and the work was easy. Even when i changed my pland, Roberto adapted on any changement and gave me the chance to have a very calm and fun stay. I can recommend it to everyone who wantd to go surfing at the beach whilst staying in a calm place near the forest!

I had a good experience volunteering at the camping. The other volunteers were super friendly, and Roberto was always helpful, making sure we had what we needed for breakfast and daily tasks. I had an amazing 3 weeks here! The hours are respected, the work is easy, and the campsite is beautiful with pools and a trail to a waterfall. You get a carton of eggs and a loaf of bread each week in addition to shared rice, beans, etc. Everyone spoke Portuguese and Spanish, so it was a great opportunity to practice and learn. There were lots of bonfires and churrascos and everyone was like family. Highly recommend and I hope to come back one day :))
