It was a very good experience, with lots of parties, hikes and events, very close to the beach, an excellent location, Bernado, a very communicative and responsible host. The hostel has some things to improve, like any hostel, but the experience was very good. I worked at the Bar and Manu, my manager, very nice, cheerful and welcoming. I enjoyed working with him; congratulations to both and I hope we meet again at some other time.

Wow, I wanted to talk about all my feelings here at the hostel, but it wouldn’t fit. I want to thank everyone a lot, including the staff and volunteers, what about the manager then? What an incredible person, yes, he is incredible, he does everything possible to help everyone and understand. The working hours are great. I really wanted to write everything I feel. I only say one thing: go, go without fear. Take advantage, be yourself, as Bernado told me. Mu, Manu, Bia, Lo, Iza, Dani… there are so many … but each one will stay in my heart. My experience at the hostel was amazing, I have a lot to thank everyone who welcomed me so warmly and to the manager Bernardo who adapted my duties to help me feel as comfortable as possible. The accommodations are great, the hostel is large, with many bathrooms. The volunteers share a room with the guests, a very comfortable room and with a bathroom available in the room as well. The location is great, close to everything and especially to the beach, a safe place. I loved volunteering at the bar, it was a good learning experience and connections. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart 💛

The hostel is home! The people who pass by there feel the vibe that only the hostel has. I went as a guest and had to come back as a volunteer lol They were amazing days! The work is super relaxed, always flexible with the hours. I will miss everyone 🥺 see you soon, amen

The hostel was my first volunteer experience in Brazil, and I can say that there is no better place to arrive and feel at home. It was one of the best experiences of my life. It became my home away from home. Being part of the team is like being part of a family. I was surrounded by wonderful people, with whom I could learn, grow and build connections that I will carry with me forever. It was them who made a piece of my heart stay here in Brazil. Leaving, even though it's difficult, is just a 'see you soon'. The people at the hostel have this special touch that makes us want to come back and continue being part of it❤️

It's hard to put into words what volunteering at the hostel means; what started as volunteering turned into home, routine, learning, and many connections.
During these two months at the hostel I learned a lot about getting along with others, responsibility, and cooperation.
There were challenges and things I had never done, but there were also many laughs, conversations, and moments I will always treasure.
The hostel was more than a hostel to me; it was a home away from home.
I am very grateful to everyone who was part of my experience and for everything I experienced.
