My first experience as a volunteer was transformative! Alessandra is a wonderful, welcoming woman who is very communicative about schedules, tasks, and responsibilities, giving us the autonomy to organize our teamwork. I helped in the kitchen and learned a lot about Ayurvedic cuisine and the power of nourishing the body from the inside out. In addition to the teachings, I made beautiful connections and had reflections I will carry with me forever. Gratitude to Ale, Gui, Lays and Thiago for so much love, care, and learning! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The space is wonderful, it's like crossing a portal to a magical and beautiful world; the food was fantastic, the reception warm, everything well organized, the practices were great and everything flowed very lightly, but for me the highlights were the experiences that are transformative and very special.
In addition to teaching about several interesting topics, host Alê gave me space to live my personal processes, respected my space and my time, and I am grateful that she opened the doors of the house and of the heart for this unique experience to happen.

My experience at the retreat center was beautiful, deep, and sensitive. A place of peace, love, and exchange. My relationship with Alê and her family was great, people with pure hearts, loving and open. The volunteer activities were very peaceful, the space is great and everyone is always taking care of your well-being; it's a place where, more than anything, you are cared for. The center is an amazing place, each retreat is specially prepared for a different goal, Alê made sure that all volunteers could participate in the activities and not just 'participate if there is time'. In addition to holistic therapies and yoga practice, you can also learn a lot in the kitchen with Dê. Volunteering at the center was a great honor, and I hope to be able to return to serve more times.

Volunteering at the center was a very special experience. I volunteered at a silent retreat without knowing that it was exactly what I needed at that moment. Ale, Ma, and De are incredible women, and every person I interacted with and who shared a bit of their story before the silence began was very important in this experience.
