The experience

Guanajuato is the perfect place for those who enjoy small cities with a lot of identity.Our hostel is located in the city centre, just a few steps away from the most representative places. We offer a friendly atmosphere, cultural exchange and lots of fun in this vibrant city.In your free time, you can explore the beautiful surroundings, go hiking in the mountains,participate in daily events (cultural, exchanges, etc) or visit other nearby cities.

What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

What we hope is not only to offer you an exchange for your help in your stay, but also that for one side you can enjoy meeting and interacting with travelers from other places and in the other side have the opportunity to enjoy a place like the colorful city of Guanajuato. Being a small capacity hostel, it gives us the opportunity to have a better interaction with our guests, to create friendships and share our experiences (both travel and life). We have pets who are very friendly and always enjoy the company of people.

Activities & Shift

The activities and shifts are varied, from cleaning and making breakfast (always vegetarian), to reception and activities with the guests. There are three shifts a day and they change so that you have the opportunity to enjoy your days or your mornings and also take advantage of your free days with other activities. We have a guide in which we explain in detail the activities to do.

Rules

The rules are basic (pick up your things, smoke in the right areas, etc). The rules are the same for anyone on the site, due to the fact that being a shared place we ask you to respect the guests and also the guests' respect for you.
