I had a great experience at the hostel. The hostal is located between Lapa and Gloria with super easy access to other parts of Rio. It was great meeting other international travelers. Accommodation was very basic and hours were a bit long but other than that I would 100% recommend!

It was my first experience as a volunteer and i couldn't expect more. Everything was very nice. I felt at home with all these nice people (workers and guests) Bruna, Ivan and Erika makes everything to welcome you the best way possible and they're awesome. Unfortunately my skills in portuguese are at the moment not so good but i had no problem to communicate with other people. Thanks to everybody who helped me live the best first volunteer experience. I really appreciate how they welcomed me; I arrived at the hostel with not much idea of where to stay, and they welcomed me with open arms and even invited me to eat an asado in the first days of volunteering. Honestly, I really value that.

The experience was optimal from day 1. The staff, especially Ivan, was cooperative in every way. The benefits they offer are excellent incentives as well, and I only had good experiences with everyone. I highly recommend it, and you should know that I will be back for a visit.

From day one they made me feel very comfortable and part of the team, which helped me adapt quickly and feel more confident.
The tasks are simple, and one thing I especially highlight is the flexibility they showed in swapping a day or a shift.
I participated in several very fun experiences, completely free.
No doubt it was a wonderful experience. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart to Mica and Iván for giving me the opportunity to be part of this experience and for all the affection I received.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue hermosa! Los turnos se respetan, hay una gran comunicación con Iván y Nacho para cualquier duda o problema que surja. Hay fiestas gratis, el staff fue muy amable (me llevo grandes amigos del hostel). Gracias por todo y espero volver en alguna ocasión 🫶🏻🥹
