I had a great time in here. Lex is a nice, funny person to be around. He took me to trails, showed me around, I met places with beautiful views thanks to him. He even gave me some snacks for my flight. His place is absolutely beautiful. He has a big colorful garden with lots of different kinds of trees. If you don't like animals this isn't your place. I'll miss Max. He's the loveliest dog I've ever met, he liked to play with the puppies. The work was mostly cleaning, taking care of the puppies and cleaning the cat's litter box. You'll be a great help to Lex if you know about carpentry:)

Lex was a very nice host, he knew a lot about food and loved Chinese food, and he took me to taste local Chinese restaurants where we also had cultural exchanges, and he also gave me a relatively large amount of travel planning and patient guidance. The daily work was easy and could be done in just a few hours, and there was enough time in my free time to explore the surrounding nature and downtown. I loved the pet, river landscape and trees in the courtyard. Be prepared though, it's cold to stay there in the winter. This was my first WP application and overall I had a great time.Appreciate it

The host provided an accommodating experience. He was flexible with the time and dates. He dropped me off for hiking trails and downtown, and he was flexible with the pick up time. Lex provided very informative car rides. The work was only taking care of cat food, litter etc and house cleaning which took at most 4 hours/day. There are like 40 cats but one nice thing was that they weren't allowed in my room.

I enjoyed my time at the farm! The beautiful property and many hiking trails around it made it an incredible place to connect with the Columbia Gorge river and waterfalls. Lex made it a welcoming place during mealtimes and with his car rides into Portland. It is important to take into consideration that there are tons of animals and that they will be a presence throughout your stay.
