There are 2 stages of work in the farm, let's say.
1st there are cleaning + mainteance tsks = removing plants, cutting brenches clean paths and remove runes.
The 2nd stage is the rehabilitation of the farm, the productive activities of this places are stopped bc there are maintenance of games, crops and animals to do and take serious care of.
I do recommend this experience but do not expect the tasks to be related to a farm because nowadays it is something is still in process to become a a farm + recreational place.
Location is easy, food is amazing, mosquitos are not so much xD

Mihai and Ana are very kind. My stay at the farm was very comfortable, the schedule is very flexible and you can visit Barcelona at any time.

Staying at the Granja was a relaxed and flexible experience. Ana and Mihai are great, it's impossible not to like them. The Granja is in in constant change of activities and you'll have autonomy to do your work and you need to be proactive to come up with ideas or to ask about other needs that the place might have. The place needs constant care and you'll be able to take care of some farm animals, some plants depending on the season, daily cleaning and also repairing small things on the place. The region is beautiful, you'll have bike to use and train station to go to Barcelona. Thank you!!

Staying at the farm was great!! The current situation of the place is atypical, right now the place needs daily caring and then it's important for you to be proactive, ask questions in what needs to be done and observe what could be improved. Mihai knows everything about the place and he is super flexible about everything, in a very relaxed pace. I was able to learn how to care of the farm animals and to prepare their food and cleaning their space. Mihai and Ana when available they will always be happy to answer your doubts! In my free time I could enjoy BCN, do sports and study :)

The days I spent here were really special. The Granja is a lovely place, and Luca welcomed me so well — he's very attentive, caring, and truly a five-star chef! Taking care of the animals, playing with the dogs, and helping around the house felt light and enjoyable. It's relatively close to the center of Barcelona, so it's a great place to reconnect with nature and animals. If you're looking for a place to be away from the big city but still want easy access to its energy and excitement, this is the perfect spot. As my first volunteering experience, it was truly amazing!

Clearly, before the 1 year abandondment, was better, now +/- a 6 out of 10. Pros: -near the train stations and Barcelona by bike or train -a lot of animals that are creating a great energy, especially the dogs Baloo and Raval -relaxed vibe -Mihai knows a lot about ecological farming and he's more than happy to share his knowledge Cons: -a chaotic way of making plans and explaining the tasks -low overall hygiene -only one kebab + 2 small cans of meat have been offered in 2 weeks -many broken utilities (laundry machine barely working, leaky faucet, the electric stove shocks quite hard etc)
