Join our charity and make a difference for hundreds of children, including orphans and those from families who can’t afford school fees. Experience real school life for children in rural Uganda, you can learn very much from this experience and the children can also learn very much too!\n\nYou don't need to be expert, we teach you everything you need to know, we need people with good will and great heart to help us build a better future for our children.\n\nWe promise you a fun and inspiring time: you will work among locals, get to know Ugandan culture and being rewarded by the purity of the local children!\n\nWe please recommend that you bring educational materials to donate to our learning centre or local children/schools if possible. These donations can make a huge impact!
Prepare lessons each morning. If children are at schools, we may receive a few children who are not able to pay for school that come to learn in our centre. We also go to schools that need support, we organise for the volunteers to teach classes and make lesson plans with the teachers. We use our office in our learning centre to print resources/learning sheets for students in schools. After school and on weekends, children come to our centre to learn. We have a local teacher who will assist you with teaching lessons so you have support when required.
Please obey our code of conduct and safeguarding policies when they are given to you.\nRespect all children, staff and community members.
