I had a great experience volunteering at Mandala. Both the staff and the other volunteers made it a very welcoming and enjoyable place to be. Jesús is an excellent manager, always approachable and supportive. Valentin, at the front desk, is also a great person and ready to support!
I worked in the kitchen, and we really became like a small family, I miss you Gleicinha, Rosa, Ale 🥹🫶. Each day, one volunteer cooks for the group using ingredients provided by the hostel, which is a great way to connect.

My time at Mandala Hostel was a very good time. It has a great atmosphere and very nice community concepts, such as the “family lunch” that everyone has together. Jeri is a very interesting, unique place that has a lot of beauty, you should definitely give it a chance! The work I did was very fair I think and the Host Jesus is lovely!He is very attending and if you have any problems, you will find a solution together! thank you so much to everyone in mandala, see you one day :)

It was a very nice experience. I enjoyed my time with all the volunteers. Everyone was lovely and welcoming. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and Jeri is a wonderful place that is very much worth a visit. Unfortunately, I could not complete my agreed upon period due to some personal problems, but in general my experience was positive and I would like to have the opportunity to return again. Truly recommend volunteering at Mandala for those who like a cool vibe that doesn't come with the usual mess of hostels haha. It's a really cool, open and clean space with a staff that is like a big family. I had never witnessed an ambiance of working that warm. It was a real blast to spend a month there. The workload leaves you a lot of free time to enjoy the amazing Vila of Jericoacoara and you get the BEST breakfast in town. Lunch is made everyday by a different member of staff (but there's always a couple of others helping out) and shared altogether <3 Mandala you rock!!! Beijos

Hey everyone!!! My stay at Mandala Hostel was very nice. I could enjoy the best of Jericoacoara surrounded by amazing people. The staff members were very cool with me and also were the guests. Mandala hostel is organised, very clean, and the breakfast is amazing. I felt that I could bank on the managers for everything, very supportive and attentive. I really felt myself home with a new family. I highly recommend to volunteer at Mandala. Thks a lot Mandala Hostel Family!!!

O Mandala Hostel Jeri is my home in Ceará! I was very warmly welcomed by everyone. The volunteer duties and hours are respected and everything is as agreed on the platform. Living in this fishing village, seeing daily life, the lush nature, the beaches and the incredible parties is transformative! The hostel has a beautiful energy and I made friends for life. Special thanks to Jesus, Gleycinha, Camila and Rosa for all the patience and kindness in teaching me the role. I will be back soon to reconnect with them! ❤️

It was the best volunteering experience of my life! From the first day at Mandala, I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, have incredible experiences and create memories that I will carry with me. I loved the team and the other volunteers, and Jesus is a great host, who ended up becoming a great friend. Jericoacoara is a wonderful place and being able to live all of this here made the experience even more special. I am very grateful for the opportunity, for the exchanges and for everything I lived. I will surely treasure this experience with a lot of affection!
