Program description
The exchange consists of collaborating with Huaka Guesthouse & Hostel in reception tasks and guest care, helping to ensure their arrival, stay, and departure are a good experience.
The activities may include checking in and check-out, greeting and guiding guests, providing information about the hostel and Cafayate, answering questions, assisting with the organization of reservations, and keeping common areas clean, tidy and pleasant.
The exchange includes 5 hours of collaboration per day, 5 days a week. The schedules and tasks are organized weekly according to the hostel's needs and occupancy.
In return, Huaka offers the volunteer a bed in a shared room, breakfast consisting of bread and infusions, and laundry service once a week.
We are looking for responsible, kind, organized people with a good predisposition to deal with travelers from different parts of the world. It is important to be able to work autonomously, have initiative, and maintain fluid and respectful communication with the team.
It is necessary to have a basic level of Spanish in order to communicate adequately with the team and handle everyday situations with the guests.
The volunteer must respect the hostel's rules, take care of the facilities, and maintain a respectful and professional attitude with the guests, the team and other travelers.
Before starting the exchange, a trial day will be held, which will allow both parties to get to know each other and verify that the working dynamic is appropriate.
The objective is to generate an exchange based on respect, responsibility, good communication and the commitment of both parties.
