I've had a beautiful time on the farm! At first I was worried because this was my first time volunteering but it was a lot better than I expected!! The job the first days seemed tough but it gets waaay easier as the days go by. And so rewarding!! I used to work taking care of all the animals in the farm and cleaning all their places. Maybe the toughest work was cleaning the igloos because you have to carry a backpack with water and it can be a bit heavy, but not impossible at all hahaha. Kari-Anne and Geir, thanks for the experience!! I'll miss the dinners with you so so much🫶🏼

I had a wonderful stay on the alpaca farm! I felt incredibly welcomed from the very start and the hosts are exceptionally kind people who always made sure i had everything i needed. The work was very interesting and enjoyable, the tasks were not difficult and i learned a lot about alpacas. Everything was exactly as we agreed upon beforehand, which made the whole experience very smooth and pleasant. The accommodation was a lovely and cozy house with a beautiful view that i will definitely miss. It was a very wonderful experience that i would definitely recommend!

This was our first Workaway experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better host! Kari-Anne and Geir welcomed us warmly to their beautiful alpaca farm, where we had our own private house with an amazing view. The work was enjoyable and manageable: feeding and cleaning the animals, caring for chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, cleaning glamping igloos, and helping with alpaca walks. We also had plenty of free time to explore the stunning Norwegian nature. The family was incredibly kind, and we truly felt at home. We now have a Norwegian alpaca family that we miss dearly! ❤️

They are just the most nice and caring couple! They truly care about the alpacas and enjoy the farm work.
They are practical, serviceminded and have no problem of solving any challenges or new tasks at the farm. Sofie and Lasse spend a lot of time with the alpacas and also our family, so we really feel like they are a part of our family now.

It was our first time in volunteering and we found the best place to start. Even with few experience working with animals, we enjoyed the company of alpacas and the daily life became so smoothly and rewarding. There are lot of things you can help with and so many skills you can get. The instructions are easy and clear to take so u can heart-connect to this beautiful animals that bring peace and a funny tenderness to the mind. The location is safe and nice whether you have a car or not - buses and train around. The people is very welcoming and the forest so magical 🦋 Greatful for this!

I absolutely loved my time here! The family is increadibly kind and welcoming. I immediately felt at home and loved living in the gorgeous house for the volunteers. The alpacas truly stole my heart, especially Lucy-Blue <3 special thanks for including me in the family dinners although I am a vegetarian, I always enjoyed them a lot! I'll miss sitting on the patio and watching the cute alpacas and going on walks in the forrest nearby. I cannot recommend this place enough, it really is a magical place that I would happily come back to 🌞

This was my first worlpackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. From the first day I felt very welcomed and I loved all the dinners we had together, not only because the food was amazing, but also because I really enjoyed talking and exchanging cultures. The accomodation, a private house just for the volunteers, was outsanding, and it didn't take me long to call it home. The work can be a little physically challenging at first, especially in winter when everything is frozen, but after a few days it becomes much better. I also saw a moose in the forest which was very cool!

This is a perfect opportunity to experience farm life in beautiful, remote Norway close to Oslo. During my stay, my tasks included daily cleaning and caring for the animals, cleaning & preparing the Iglus when there was a check-in / check-out and one day also cleaning the guest toilets, instructing guests for an alpaca walk & organizing some things in the small shop. I've stayed in a really cute little guest house overlooking the alpaca fields. On the days that the family was there, the homemade dishes made it feel so much more like home. Kari-Anne definitely has a warm soul. Thank you!

This experience was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Everything was well organized, clear, and easy to manage from the start. The work was very fair and never heavy: taking care of the alpacas was a daily joy, and on some days we helped by cleaning the igloos. Having our own cozy guesthouse made the experience even better, giving us both comfort and the privacy while still feeling part way of the farm life. The nature, the animals and the shared dinners made every day enjoyable. We couldn't recommend this experience more!!
