My experience in Tanzania was truly life-changing. The children changed my life, and every day I woke up excited to go to school and see their beautiful smiles. I came here hoping to make a difference, but they touched my heart more than words can explain.

A special thank you to Jovin and his wife for treating me like family and welcoming me into their home with so much love. And to Joseph, who was always there for me, always ready to help, and brought so much laughter into my days.
I am leaving Tanzania with a full heart, unforgettable memories.

My journey in Chamazi has been one of the best experiences of my life. The host and his family welcomed me as one of them since the beginning so it felt like a second home from the start. I met wonderful people, discovered an amazing culture and I really hope I was able to teach the kids as much as I learnt from them.

This was my first world packers experience and it quickly became one of the best experiences in my life, I only wish I spent more time there. From the moment I was picked up from the airport Jovin and Joseph made me feel at home in Chamazi, welcoming me into their homes. Working with the teachers and kids was incredibly rewarding, the kids were joyous and made sure you had your spirits up at all times. The food was delicious and my experience on the safari fulfilled childhood dreams, we also had lots of fun on our beach trips. I hope to return to Chamazi the next chance I get.

My time at the organization in Chamazi was an experience I can hardly put into words. From the moment I arrived, Jovin and Joseph welcomed me with open arms. Life in Chamazi is simple but incredibly warm, and I quickly became part of the local community. Working at the school, helping renovate, and spending time with the children was deeply meaningful. Despite the initial culture shock, it quickly felt like home. I had to leave early due to an exam, but I will definitely return. I highly recommend the organization to anyone seeking a new perspective on what truly matters.

This was my first volunteer experience and it was truly wonderful. All the hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind, and made me feel at home from the beginning. The teachers at the school were amazing and it was inspiring to see their dedication. The kids were absolutely lovely and spending time with them was the most special part of the experience. I also met great volunteers from different parts of the world which made everything even more memorable. The food was always delicious and prepared with care. Overall it was a beautiful, meaningful experience and I'm very grateful to everyone :)

Jovin, Elina, their family, and Joseph take really good care of the volunteers and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. They are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need, which makes settling in very easy.

The school has a really positive and supportive atmosphere. The children are so sweet, curious, and full of energy. Also the teachers are incredibly kind, dedicated, and supportive. You can really see how much they care about the students and their education.

Overall, it's more than just a place to volunteer, it feels like being part of a family :)

The most beautiful adventure of my life This humanitarian trip will remain etched in my heart forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Jovin Joseph and Elina for their hospitality, kindness and everything they do. We feel truly welcome. The school is incredible, filled with love and smiles. I have become very attached to the children: they radiate such pure joy that it warms the heart. I have also formed real bonds with the locals and international volunteers, sincere encounters that will remain etched in my memory forever. An unforgettable experience, thank you for everything!

This experience was truly amazing! It was my first international trip, by myself, but I immediately felt welcomed by everyone. Food was delicious and rooms were clean and comfortable. There were many opportunities to be immersed in the local culture and the hosts were always happy to help organise things such as safaris or trips to the beach. The bonds you get to build with the kids at school and after school lessons are so special! I was also able to build close relationships with other volunteers and learnt a little bit of Swahili. I would highly recommend this experience! Very grateful!

My experience with Jovin, Lina, Esther, Babumagi, Joseph, and Mama Alia's family was simply incredible. I stayed with them for almost three months, and from day one, they made me feel like part of the family. They were always there for me, taking care of me with so much love and kindness. We shared amazing outings, unforgettable parties, and beautiful everyday moments. The connection with the kids was truly a gift—every smile, game, and conversation was full of love and joy. I'm leaving with a full heart and a second family for life. Asante sana 🫶🏼

This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! From the very first moment, I felt welcomed and part of a big, warm family. Joseph, Jovin and Elina are incredible hosts, always present, kind and ready to help with anything you need. Living and teaching in the village and at school was magical. The kids are simply wonderful: full of energy, love and always eager to learn. Their smiles will stay in my heart forever. I've learned so much, grown so much, and left a piece of my soul there. If you're thinking about joining this project just do it.
