I had a great experience at the hostel. The managers really care about the volunteers, and I always felt like a volunteer, not an employee. The work is easygoing, and the hostel has a fun atmosphere with great food and drink discounts, plus a jacuzzi and sauna. My only criticism is that the schedule is longer than advertised. It says 5 hours per day, but it's closer to 6 (about 36 hours a week), which left me with less time to explore or work remotely. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Wow. It's hard to sum up this month, but this was one of the best times in my life The location is perfect for a nice rest point between the cities. I came to Brazil 4 days after my final exam so living by the coast was needed. The hostel has everything you need - lovely staff and volunteers who support you and have a laugh. I've made so many friends from across the world, including a lovely girl I met from Colombia :) I can't wait to come back to the hostel with my family and show them the hidden gems of Paraty and Ilha Anchieta. Thank you for making this experience unforgettable

The experience was incredible, the hostel is a wonderful place to enjoy, make friends and volunteering makes the experience more local and familiar. I'm really grateful with the staff I worked with; Tati, Diego, Vini, Arthur, Sasa (everybody actually) and the others of the team. Unfortunately my trip changed last minute and I had to leave but I'm already planning to come back cause I'll miss them. If you're wondering how the tasks are there is a schedule for the staff and all you have to do is having fun, socialize and help them with the hostel but they really consider the fact you're WP

I had a completely unique experience at the hostel. I got to meet a lot of people coming from all over and go on crazy adventures. Vini offers a great deal on a trip to the partner hostel on Ilha Anchieta which I highly recommend. I came in knowing absolutely no Portuguese but I felt confident that everyone would work with me to bridge the gap. At times there were miscommunications about the work and what exactly the tasks are. But the management is very understanding and staff are generally helpful, as long as you put in the effort with them. I hope you consider the hostel for your trip!

Great experience. We stayed for one month. The work was very simple and easy. All of the staff are very friendly and it is a very social hostel and very easy to meet people. The only thing I would say for people to be aware of is that sometimes you will be doing night shifts 7pm-1am or 1am to 7am. But all the tasks are very simplistic. All in all we had a really good time and the area of Ubatuba is amazing

The hostel is such a cool spot!! The location is amazing, with absolutely stunning nature around and the beach 10 seconds away xx Be prepared for some rain though;) The hostel itself has such a special energy that attracts amazing people (guests and above all staff xx) - so I'm leaving with a LOT of great memories:) Already missing the hostel Heaven!! The only thing I could criticise is the staff accomodation which was a bit messy but considering the other great facilities, this did not limit my experience:) Thanks for everything and I will be back xx Lots of love!!

I really enjoyed my month volunteering at the hostel! The hostel is located in such a beautiful beautiful place - ubatuba and all the surrounding areas are absolutely insane, so there's lots to do and lots to see around there :) also, the hostel attracts really nice people from all around the world, so i'm leaving having formed amazing connections & friendships that i cherish fondly. There's a lot of events happening in the hostel all the time, so it's quite social, but you also have to enjoy such 'party dynamics', otherwise this place might not be for you. Something that impacted my experien

This was my first volunteering, I found a second home! Ubatuba is great, but the team is what make this place even better! Their vibe is unique, that reflects perfectly what brazil is about. They make work seems like fun. You'll learn a lot, meet new people everyday, practice your english, spanish, and of course portugues, but also how to work in team, discover new tasks… and party in the Brazilian way !! I strongly recommend and will come back for sure ! Special thanks to Tati, manager, who will make everything easier for you, but I could name the whole team, staff and volunteers. Thank you!

I had the opportunity of volunteering at the hostel for a month, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a supportive and passionate team who made me feel like a valued member of the community. The environment was both friendly and professional, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and learning.
