In the absence of one of our team members, we're looking for help at the front desk to deal with all aspects of bookings (emails/phone calls), checking in guests, helping out with housekeeping as necessary, potentially book tours for guests with our preferred partners.
30 hours of help per week
Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.
Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

We expect our volunteers to be friendly and welcoming to all our guests and everyone in the team. I'm very hands-on and willing to help out as necessary but I expect volunteers to apply themselves during working hours as I will be absent from time to time so the volunteer will have to be able to work to their own initiative. We have documentation to help make the role easier in terms of standard email responses etc that need to be amended on a guest-by-guest basis. We need someone who is fluent in English in both writing and speaking.

We don't permit any smoking in rooms, no drugs on the premises.
