Program Details

🏡 Welcome to Ecovila Sustentar @ecovilasustentar, an agroecological territory with sustainable practices and the preservation of the Mata Atlântica, 46 km from SP.

We are a living laboratory that promotes ecopedagogical and permacultural experiences.

In this volunteering opportunity you will be able to learn and collaborate with agroecological practices by experiencing agroforestry management and different types of garden beds, in addition to the collective work and the daily life of a developing community in the Mata Atlântica.

We want to share moments of collective learning with nature-based experiences. We hope that volunteers will have openness to live harmoniously with other inhabitants of the ecovila, with daily care of animals and plants and permacultural management of the space.

Activities & Shift

🍀On weekdays we request a dedication of at least 5 hours per day of volunteer work, with supervision by one of our community members. During these hours, you may be asked to contribute to day-to-day tasks such as cleaning, cooking, organizing and maintenance of spaces, using the necessary tools for the tasks, which may include sharp or electric tools.

Meals are prepared collectively with ingredients provided by the community, including the volunteer participants.

We are open to welcoming you in the best possible way so that you integrate into our community and our sustainable and regenerative way of life.
