I had a really great time at the RMB Hostel! Edinburgh is a great city and the hostel is very centrally located, which makes it easy to explore the city. The managers, Billie and Jack, are very nice and supportive; overall, the whole atmosphere with the other volunteers feels like a little family. I spent 6 weeks volunteering at RMB, and it was an amazing experience. The city is so beautiful and vibrant, the work is easy and manageable, leaving you time to explore the city. The managers Billie and Jack are genuinely kind, supportive and understanding. There are lots of activities, and the volunteers quickly become like a big family. As my first time volunteering experience, RMB helped me gain so much confidence thanks to its warm and welcoming atmosphere. My time in Edinburgh was amazing! RMB is a welcoming hostel in a great central location, making it easy to explore the city. Billie and Jack are always friendly, supportive, and ready to help. RMB has a special place in my heart, I felt at home as soon as I arrived and that cozy wee hostel gave me friends for life! The tasks are simple and the hours are respected always. Jack and Billie are super nice and willing to help with anything you need:) The hostel's location let's you explore the best spots in Edinburgh very easily and you get to meet people from everywhere. I recommend this place blindly and will miss my time with my family <333

I had an amazing time!! It was my first time volunteering and staying in a hostel, the hostel is so cute and cosy and Jack and Billie are great. RMB is a great way to explore the city of Edinburgh whilst being part of a tight-knit community, and its connection to its two larger sister hostels also means that you can choose to take part in bigger social events. The work, once you get a hang of it, is easy to do and if you're ever unsure of anything you can always approach one of the volunteers or Jack and Billie, everyone is one big team. I'm really thankful for the amazing experience!

Working at RMB was truly an unforgettable experience. I had the chance to meet amazing people and grow my skills in so many ways. The team is incredible... Billie and Jack always made us feel at home (I'm still dreaming about Billie's tiramisu!). I absolutely loved my time volunteering at RMB! The work is easy, the shifts are flexible and the hours are very fair. The hostel is super cozy, and at such a great location! There are plenty of fun weekly events to attend which make it easy to socialize with the sister hostels as well. I made so many great friends and amazing memories that I'll never forget!
