If you are searching for a place to create deep connection with people, but also spend some time alone with yourself in a secluded space, I think the Center is perfect! The stuff is super friendly and the chefs will make sure that you're always stuffed with food! The work is well structured and it changes each week, so it is likely that you will have different tasks. There's the possibility to attend the Center meditation classes and each week you're going to attend a German lecture. If you want to visit the surrounding you are provided with bikes :)

The best experience with volunteering I had so far! The workers are very kind and inclusive, making you feel at home right away. The volunteers I met here were super nice and friendly. The German teacher was also very fun to talk with! Overall it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it!!!

This was my first worldpackers experience, and I had a magical time. What made this time so special was the amazing friendships I made with my 6 fellow volunteers. The staff at the Center made our stay equally as amazing, by planning parties for us, taking us on a special dinner excursions. The other volunteers and I planned movie nights, game nights, and talked late into the evening. The accommodations were comfortable and the food was awesome (especially breakfast)!! The work is clearly structured. There are 3 shifts: 6am-12:30pm, 8am-2pm, 3pm-9pm. I'm forever grateful for my time here

The highlight of my time at the Center was the other volunteers I met and worked with. It truly is a community that you become part of, in which the people are kind, supportive and encouraging. The growth that I experienced here is something that I will be grateful for for a long time. I worked as a kitchen hand and server, I cooked, baked and practised my german. There is some room for improvement, which I have communicated with the host, which will help to keep all volunteers safe and well there.

I had a great experience in the Center ! The place is really beautiful and the room for the workys is very pretty and comfortable ! Food was also good, a little repetitive sometimes but very tasty. About the tasks, they were a little exhausting sometimes (especially Housekeeping and Gardening). Negative points : sometimes you were alone doing the work, which increased the difficulty and the responsibility of it, and also I had the impression that only girls were doing all the cleaning work :/ (guys can also clean remember! ). Despite that, I had an amazing time with the others workys ! :))

My time at the Center didn't go as expected, but was still an enjoyable experience due to friendly staff and other wonderful volunteers. However, the expected role that I was to carry out didn't align with the tasks I actually had to complete. I signed up to be a bartender, but upon arrival, I soon learned “ the challenge of the Center,” is to undertake different roles. These include kitchen, hand, service, housekeeping, Gardening. I wasn't happy about the lack of transparency regarding the roles, especially since this was something I'd communicated with them from the start. So, Just a heads up.

É quase engraçado de novo, se não fosse tão triste... informamos por escrito com antecedência sobre as várias tarefas, fizemos até uma videoconferência com você, onde mais uma vez explicamos exatamente quais tarefas são no Sagasfeld Waiting for you, já apontamos com antecedência que você precisa falar um pouco de alemão para o trabalho no serviço no restaurante, não adiantou nada e só porque você não nos ouviu direito, você nos dá 3 estrelas... não dá pra acreditar :-) É o que é, você ainda fez um ótimo trabalho, mesmo que tenha sido completamente diferente do que você esperava antes... mas sabe de uma coisa? É exatamente para isso que servem estágios e viagens para países estrangeiros :-) Olaf

The 6 hours work a day was strangely draining and I'm used to 12+. If you are coming for yoga/ the Center I wouldn't recommend. I learnt about some the Center from Dr Paul but due to our meal times and eating leftovers for lunch it's impossible to follow an Ayurvedic diet. My first room was amazing and everything was so clean. It is in a very remote area, this can be nice to be out of big cities. Andreas H, Sarah, Dr Paul and Lea (yoga teacher) were all very lovely and spent time with us volunteers. These people and the volunteers are what made it so great, there was a great sense of community.

É muito importante que os voluntários não tenham falsas expectativas antes da chegada. Por isso, gostaria de enfatizar e reiterar a declaração da Mia sobre o tema da comida. Na verdade, não há comida ayurvédica para os funcionários todos os dias. Há café da manhã, almoço e jantar gratuitos, e refrigerantes. E é verdade que no horário do almoço pode haver apenas uma salada ou uma sopa. À tarde também há fruta, bolo e biscoitos. O serviço de alimentação é bom, mas por favor não espere que façamos dietas ayurvédicas especiais para você ou que preparemos refeições à la carte. Um anfitrião não é Hotel Mama e estamos com Workaway e não Holidayaway. Isso às vezes é esquecido pelos voluntários :-)

If you are looking for a peaceful nature place and improve your German come her! They offer you an amazing share room, bonfires, yoga classes, an art room where you can paint, play instruments... space for you and very good food with the quantity you want. However, they don't know what is permaculture and don't offer holistic therapies. The shifts are ok, tired, but good. I learn and enjoy in the kitchen and, in my case, I loved work in the garden. Arrived there is a little bit complicated, you are in the deep Germany but the people around are very eco and alternative. Thank u the Center!

Embora ofereçamos mais de 80 terapias diferentes nas áreas de bem-estar, medicina tradicional chinesa e Ayurveda, você está certo, não oferecemos nenhum treinamento para nossos estagiários que ficam apenas quatro semanas. E embora nosso grande jardim e a espiral de ervas tenham sido criados por um paisagista de acordo com as diretrizes da permacultura e também tenhamos um pequeno jardim de legumes, você também está certo de que não oferecemos nenhum treinamento extra sobre esse assunto, além de mostrar como capinar, cultivar o solo e explicar quando é a época de colheita de batatas ;-) Claro que também oferecemos cursos de formação, por exemplo, na área de Ayurveda, mas não como parte de um estágio de quatro semanas. No entanto, cada estagiário recebe todas as tarefas e as condições gerais antes de chegar e antes mesmo de marcarmos um compromisso fixo. Como parte desta comunicação, muitas perguntas podem ser feitas, por exemplo, sobre coisas que são importantes para você. Infelizmente você não fez isso. Para não causar mais confusão, eu removi esses ícones. Não quero criar expectativas que não possamos nem queiramos atender. Não que um dos estagiários vá reclamar que nossas aulas de yoga são dadas em alemão ou que a área da sauna só possa ser usada em horários selecionados ;-)

I grew to feel very much at home in this little community. The managing of tasks was just fine, you just need to voice your needs very clearly. I worked in service which improved my German a lot and the weekly German classes were excellent. I feel compelled to mention that at times I felt uncomfortable by some inappropriate behaviour of a couple men there. I spoke to a manager and this was dealt with, so this shouldn't be a problem in the future. The room with the girls was great but remember to clean it! You can really enjoy your time off and the location is simply beautiful! Thank you all!:)

The Center gave me a realistic understanding of what it's like working in a hotel and the opportunity to meet some lovely people :) There were some things I had to adjust to: I applied to work in the garden, but I was assigned to housekeeping for 2 weeks. I worked alone and the physical aspect of the job was quite demanding. I only worked in the garden towards the end of my stay, cleaning gutters, the pond, and raking leaves. No matter what job you apply for, you will be working in all sectors (unless you are a man, in which case you will not be assigned to work in housekeeping).
