I would say that being able to have my first volunteering experience at the hostel was truly a stroke of luck! The environment, the work, and the people exceeded all my expectations. David, Emanuel and Paolo were incredibly welcoming and kind, and I have nothing but gratitude for all of them! The tasks were explained clearly and were exactly as we had agreed beforehand. The volunteer matched with the job description. Basicaly we spend all our working hours cleaning a lot of kitchens, toilets and rooms. It is good we have time to enjoy the city after working.
The working enviroment is very good. I could really connect with the others volunteers and the managers Paolo, David and Emanuel are nice as well. Sometimes there are very dirty rooms or toilet to clean but it is part of housekeeping duty 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
The location is perferct. It is near by everything and didn't feel dangerous even at night time.
I recomend it if you don\'t mind with cleaning duties.

What a great time! I really recommend this hostel. The management team Emmanuel, Davide & Paolo are very welcoming, communicative and friendly people. The location is absolutely fantastic, I was able to explore central London on foot, and the other volunteers are so friendly and helpful. We do the work together, but with also time to get everything done thats needed; work hours are respected. I hope to return some day :-) Thankyou to everyone at the hostel ❤️

This was my first volunteering experience, and I would definitely do it again with them. I had amazing experience from day one. They always respected the agreed working hours, and the tasks were simple and well organized, which gave me plenty free time to enjoy London. A special thanks to managers, Emmanuel, Paolo and David. They were always kind, friendly and supportive. Whenever I needed help or had questions, they were happy to assist and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I had an amazing time! I met such wonderful people during my stay. Paolo, David, and Emanuel are incredible! They are very flexible, supportive, and always willing to help with anything you need. They really make you feel welcome and part of the place. The accommodations are also great, very comfortable and perfect for resting after a long day. The location is another big plus, as you can easily explore the city on foot and get to many places without needing transport. I’ll definitely miss my days at the hostel. It was a special experience, and I would absolutely come back again! 💛

I spent a month volunteering here and had a really great time. The hostel is well organised and the staff are genuinely friendly and easy to work with. The free accommodation is a nice bonus too. That's my second time in the hostel, I liked it so much I came back! The staff has always been most welcoming and helpful, very good communication! The work is ok, nothing too hard except when some guests leave their room very dirty. While I was there I had 3 hour work during weekdays and 4 hour work during the weekends, after work I had the day all to myself. The localization is great, a walking distance to many turist attractions. I highly recommend it.

It was such an amazing experience. Although personal health issues, I couldn't complete the whole journey. I absolutely recommend the host and volunteering in the hostel. The volunteers and staffs are very friendly and understanding, it made me feel like home. The only one thing was difficult was one of the rooms was very cold during the night.

I had a really good time at the Friendshiphouse! 95% of the guests rent the rooms for months/years. I made friends with the other volunteers and we went out for exploring London together.
Everyone is really nice!! The work is exactly how described, cleaning/deep cleaning rooms/common areas/kitchen, hovering floors.
You will have a private room and volunteer kitchen. They help you with £20 each week for groceries shopping.
It's an amazing location too, bus and train nearby. I recommend :)
