The Experience

We've been hosting volunteers since 2008 and totally enjoy the experience. You love housekeeping? B&B? Gardening? Eco experiences? Having fun with friends? We're always looking for people who have dual skills - ideally housekeeping & landscaping (we ESPECIALLY are looking for a great WEEDWHACKER/LANDSCAPER right now). Pls note: we love people who want to come for three months!!!

An incredible 2 months 🌈☀️My time at the guest housewas everything I could have asked for and more! Although the work can be physically demanding, I learnt so much and pushed myself out of my comfort zone many times. Definitely a period of “self-growth”. The accommodations are great (nice house, stocked kitchen, spacious, cozy, etc.) But above all, it was the people I met and the adventures we went on that really made my time here memorable. 🥰🌺

I felt at home from the moment I arrived! I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my 30th birthday here and it felt as if I were celebrating with my own family. The property is more secluded but it is gorgeous with a truck available to rent and time off to explore Maui. Plenty of staples for your stay are provided so you don't break the bank. The work can be hard but rewarding and you get out of it what you put into it. I learned so much! Jess and Sharyn are willing to work with you when it comes to your schedule as needed. I will never forget my time at the guest houseand the memories I made here :)

The greatest experience of my life so far, during my time that I spent in the guest houseI grew as a person and had the time of my life. The place is insanely beautiful, literally in the middle of nature. Waking up with the best sunrises and the sound of birds is something I will never forget. The house where the volunteers live is big, spacious and has everything you need. Sharyn and Jeff take care of her their volunteers and provide samples of food and are always so kind. The place is perfect for whoever wants a peaceful, fun and relaxing time in Maui. Definitely an unforgettable experience💛🌈🏄🏼‍♀️

My first experience on Hawaii and especially in the Jungle! Sharyn & Jeff are lovely people who will welcome you on their property. - the guest houseis in the jungle on the way to Hana. From Coconut trees, banana trees to the most beautiful flowers, this is definitely a different level of nature. If you're into nature, quiet time and a place to slow down, go for it! .. Maui is always a good idea 🌈
