I loved my time at the surf the surf the surf camp!! After 3 weeks I didn't want to leave. Ruth and the whole team were amazing. I really felt like I was apart of their family from day 1. I have had a truly life changing experience at the surf the surf the surf camp. It felt like we were one big family. Mancora itself is such a fun beach town, but the surf the surf the surf camp is a community in itself. Many locals come and hang out as well as other travellers. If you want to practice spanish this is the perfect place. I would 100% recommend this experience to anybody. This was my first volunteer experience and I felt so welcomed, like family.

I had an amazing experience at the surf the surf the surf camp. The atmosphere was incredibly chill and welcoming—it truly felt like being part of a family. Every week brought the opportunity to cook for the group and enjoy traditional dishes from other volunteers' cultures. The work is very manageable and allows you to learn how to make some typical Peruvian drinks/dishes. Perfect weather, wonderful people—it was unforgettable.

My experience at the surf the surf the surf camp hostel was the best of the best I could have ask for. I worked as a bartender and I met amazing people everyday, alongside Siochi and Ruth that they are amazing hosts and always took care to everything I need. Every day one of the volunteers was cooking lunch for the others and I really like this concept because I could try some delicious food from different cultures every day. Highly recommend and I'm sure I'll come back. Thank you!

The beeeeest, I love everyone who works there and who I volunteered together with, it felt like a family. We had lots of parties, a camping trip, watched sunsets from the beach, enjoyed the bonfires and the pool, and I learned so much Spanish. The work was divided evenly between all volunteers and it was not too difficult. It includes working at a bar and sometimes promoting the events while taking a nice walk by the beach. Everyday a different volunteer cooks a meal, muy muy ricooo. I learned lots about the local life, had some surf lessons with a volunteer discount, made lifelong friends <3

I had an amazing experience at the surf the surf the surf camp helping out at the bar and restaurant, alternating between breakfast, afternoon and night time shifts. The volunteers as well as the two Alejandros created a welcoming and supportive environment that was always a fun time. It was also great that the hostel had events like salsa lessons to live music that allowed me to meet other travelers and locals. Responsibilities were well communicated and respected by the team leaders, even allowing a few days of training before working more officially. Couldn't recommend enough!

Being a volunteer at the surf the surf the surf camp was an incredible experience, soechi, ruth and the whole team make you feel at home from the very first moment! The work is simple and fun and the basic accommodation but with everything you need and two minutes from the beach! I’m going to miss the little animals, the atmosphere and my volunteer family🫶🏻
