I absolutely loved my time at the hostel, the hostel is in an amazing location and feels truly homely despite the coming and going of travellers. I worked in both housekeeping and reception whilst I was there, the training and scheduling was clear and informative. I felt that my free time was respected and the hosts often helped us plan mini-breaks and trips away during our days off. Obviously the volunteers you're with makes a huge difference and I was very lucky to be with such a close-knit group of lovely people. I think the hosts encourage close bonds amongst the volunteers which is lovely.

Volunteering at the hostel was incredible, Polina is such a great host and kind person, I'll surely recommend you to come for the hostel and also because Tallinn is so beautiful. Overall, the activities during the shifts usually consists of cleaning, but they're very flexible and even offer an alternative hostel, if the vibe don't match. Sometimes we are asked to lend a hand moving things around outside the shift, but only if you want to help. Food is quite abundant, they just ask for your common sense (per usual) and some facilities are under improvement, such as the volunteers room.

I had an excellent experience. Everything went exactly as planned. Polina and Kristofer were very kind, even though my English is extremely basic. The volunteers took turns cooking dinner from Monday to Thursday. Tallinn is a beautiful city! :)

Our experience at the hostel has been great, so we extended our stay for another 2 weeks! The volunteer room was under renovation when we arrived, but we stayed in a comfortable temporary room near the main area and kitchen. Polina and Kristoffer were always open to communication, creating a friendly atmosphere. Tasks are 8 hours a day, focused on cleaning, organizing and social events. On weekdays, one volunteer prepares dinner, a great way to connect! The location is amazing, close to everything, and Tallinn is beautiful. Definitely worth it!

Tallinn is definitely a city worth visiting, and from there, it’s easy to travel to Riga and enjoy a few days there as well. The hostel is located in the Old Town, making it very easy to access everything on foot.The staff are respectful, welcoming, and genuinely try to create a warm and hospitable environment for guests. The only thing that initially shocked me was the condition of my room when I arrived. However, after a few days, they moved me to another room and started renovating the original one, so everything is now ready for future guests.Overall, I highly recommend this hostel.

I have spent one month and a half at Imaginary and I have loved every minute of it. The hostel is pretty comfortable, direcly in the old city (which is fabulous btw), the cleaning tasks are easy to master and the working hours are well respected. There is a time to work but there is also a time to party or just have fun with a bunch of social shifts lile pub crawls, game night or movie night. In addition, the staff is just awesome ! Heads-up to Polina and Kriss, the two managers, who handle their team like pros. They are easy to reach and will listen carefully. And they're really fun !

I had a great volunteering experience and an amazing time in Estonia. The work was fair, the atmosphere was friendly, and there was plenty of time to explore and enjoy the country.
A special thank you to Polina, the manager, for being supportive, organized, and always willing to help. She made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to future volunteers.
