I applied as a volunteer for the first time. I worked 20 hours per week. Helping in bar , guest check-in,etc. Hostel atmosphere was really good, great guests, fun events hosted every night, you get to meet and work with a lot of amazing people. I really liked the experience.

I had such an amazing time at the hostel! In only 2 weeks it became a new home to me and the people there my new family! Sounds cheesy, but it's true. Had such a hard time leaving this place... Everybody is super open, friendly and loveable. The work is easy and fun and I got to meet a lot of people from all over the world! The hostel might be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in and I loved the hostel events they are having every night! Also cool that you get to meet locals too, that hang out at the bar. :) I'll definitely be back one day!

I volunteered for 3 weeks at the hostel and they surpassed my expectations. The work is simple and straightforward, the shifts are planned in advance, you'll have plenty of free time and the atmosphere with the guests and the locals is unlike anywhere else I've been. They put a lot of work into building a great place for guests and locals alike with their evening activities and events. This is a great place to be, and if you get the chance to volunteer here, don't hesitate. You'll always find something to enjoy on any given day. Thanks to all the hostel team for the unforgettable experience.

What can I say about the hostel. I had high expectations going in and they absolutely smashed them. Incredibly welcoming team, just all around amazing people, creating an incredible atmosphere day in day out. The mix of international travellers and locals makes the hostel a great place to immerse yourself in the area, and the sense of community is fantastic. It's rare that when I leave a place, I want to go straight back, but the hostel has stolen a place in my life that it'll keep forever. See you again soon guys!

600 characters are not enough to describe the hostel! I came here with high expectations, and somehow they still managed to exceed them. Easy tasks, well-planned shifts and hands down the best volunteer accommodation I've ever had. But what really makes the hostel special is the place and community they've managed to create. I lost count of how many friendships I saw blossom in that garden, with travelers and locals alike. I was lucky enough to connect with so many wonderful people and the only downside is that I am now diagnosed with massive post-the hostel nostalgia! Good thing I have every excuse to come back!

I stayed at the hostel for two weeks and had the best time. All the staff and volunteers were very welcoming and friendly. Jobs included cleaning & collecting glasses for the bar and helping to clear their basement out. All were simple tasks and were a fair amount of work for my time. The hostel is a very special place that feels like a real community of locals and travellers. They put a lot of work in to maintaining a their reputation as a fun, the hostel. I highly recommend volunteering here. Thank you Rob, Mihai, Filippo & the hostel team!

The entire team, and regular costumers were a joy to work and spend time with. Even when they get new volunteers monthly, they still are interested in you as a person which I thought was really special. The hours and workload are nothing compared to the hostel space it brings you. My advice would be to tell them if you can help with new/different things outside ur shift as well. They are always open-minded and Im a bit sad I didnt share all my ideas and couldnt do more. This is definitely where you want to be especially for your first volunteer project. oh and I really hope you like karaoke…

For my first volunteering experience, I'm really happy with it! People were very open-minded and easy-going. The work itself is very well organized, chill and easy-going. I quickly felt comfortable and everything was explained clearly. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the events are a great way to meet locals. You can play music, join games and meet people from different cultures. The pub crawls through Bucharest city center are also a great way to experience the place and really enjoy the adventure. I really recommend the hostel!

My experience with the hostel was amazing. Everybody was extremely nice and welcoming especially the staff who were always relaxed and outgoing. Work was clear and relatively easy and adaptable . In this hostel you meet a lot of great people who you end up hanging out with a lot, especially on the evening events that are always fun. Would definitely recommend if youre looking to have a positive fun volunteering experience while meeting travelers from all over the world.
